Awesome phone really nice very pleased with purchase I love the display.
I purchased this phone after owning the ZTE warp. ZTE offers really good cellphones for the money and front facing camera a feature the competition do not have. This phone can't be beat unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars.
Just got this phone yesterday and LOVE it! I'm a big fan of ZTE phones because of the charger port being on the side - this way my phone can be upright while charging on a stand and I can still surf the web. I also like the power button location - on top of the phone - makes for easier screenshots. This phone runs quick. It is a CDMA phone with an LTE SIM card in it. You can't beat Walmart's price - to purchase a new one through the Boost store as an existing customer with no promotions it'll cost around $100. The phone has 8GB internal storage. After firmware and a bit of bloatware, you are left with about 4.12GB total space. After I ran all of my Google app updates and installed a few other apps, I am left with about 3GB available space. Not too shabby. I installed a 8GB microSD card and all total this gives me more than enough room for everything I need with room to spare. The phone has Bluetooth Tethering and Mobile Hotspot options. This phone doesn't have WiFi calling option. I live in the country where previously only Verizon worked. I've been a TracFone customer for years (the CDMA phones ran off of Verizon towers) but signal has been terrible the past 6 months. I was so surprised that Sprint and their 4G LTE actually work out here in the sticks. One word of caution - make sure to let all the updates install. There are firmware and other updates and you want to make sure everything is up-to-date for your device to run seamlessly. I have read numerous reviews on the Boost website about the phone rebooting randomly - and the reason is because the users didn't let the phone properly update. I highly recommend this phone. It is easy on the budget - and cheap to replace if you drop and break it. So far, I'm very pleased with both the phone and the carrier (Boost).

I PURCHASED THIS PHONE FROM WALMART A FEW DAYS AGO TO USE AS A ANDROID DEVICE. I HAVE A CELL PHONE FROM ANOTHER CARRIER , BUT WANTED TO HAVE A DEVICE TO USE WITH TABLET FEATURES THAT WAS SMALLER. IT WORKED OUT THAT I WAS ABLE ADD ON APPS . THERE WERE REVIEWS STATING THAT THIS PHONE HAS NO PLACE TO PUT IN AN EXTERNAL SD CARD. IN EXPLORING THE PHONE FURTHER THEN WHAT IT APPEARED TO LOOK LIKE, DUE TO IT APPEARING TO NOT HAVE A SLOT FOR AN EXTERNAL CARD, I DISCOVERED THAT THERE IS A PLACE INSIDE THE PHONE THAT ACCEPTS EXTERNAL CARDS.ON THE BOTTOM THERE IS A SMALL SLOT WHICH IF YOU DRAG YOUR NAIL ACROSS, THEREFORE OPENING THE BACK OF THE PHONE, YOU WILL THEN SEE A SLOT FOR AN EXTERNAL SD CARD. ONCE ADDED, THE STORAGE SPACE WILL BE INCREASED IN SETTINGS WHERE THE EXTERNAL SD CARD IS . THERE IS A LOT OF ROOM ON THE INTERNAL STORAGE HOWEVER TO DOWNLOAD A LOT OF APPS ALSO. I JUST WANTED TO CLEAR UP THIS ISSUE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE PHONE AND DID NOT KNOW THAT THE SLOT FOR THE CARD TO BE ADDED IS INSIDE THE BACK OF THE PHONE.
This phone is different from the description notes, although the one we bought does have the same model number. Ours does not have an SD Card slot and only came with 4g of memory. It uses 2.3 so you are left with 1.7 for your apps. For some people this will be a deal breaker...especially because you cannot add memory or run USB. We are not gamers but the ability to watch a movie would have been nice. One final note; it hates heat....do not leave it in a hot environment (we live in the desert so this is a concern). The battery is fixed internally, you cannot remove it if something goes wrong. We have invested in a nice hard case and had it over a month...so it stays I guess. Disappointed in the misleading info but what can we do at this point? We will pass on a second one I think though....and I came back in to order a second one tonight.
The phone has a delay/really slow when the phone rings it doesn't show the person who is calling or the answer button for at least 5 rings so you can't answer right away the phone Also randomly the phone shuts itself off in the middle of doing anything on the phone
This phone is not worth purchasing. BUYER BEWARE. The issues I experience: -sometimes when I try to send a text, the recipient gets upwards of twelve copies of the same text. -the phone gets really hot for no reason. I'll have it in my pocket and it'll randomly get hot, even after all backup apps are disabled. -crashes, crashes, crashes. Phone resets randomly, apps get really slow and crash randomly, the screen goes dark sometimes and has to be hard reset repeatedly, the phone shuts off randomly, the alarm clock begins to play then doesn't (do not trust as an alarm clock), the keyboard crashes and refuses to return even though the phone claims it's still working. -the battery dies within an hour of charging. -external SD memory refuses to work. Honestly, if and when I get a new phone I'm taking a hammer to this thing because of the overwhelming frustration.
The ZTE speed sucks. I have only had this phone for a month and I have already had issues with it. First off It crashes and restarts constantly, apps freeze up and the phone has to be manually restarted. The biggest problem I have with this is that I started charging it and out of no where it started vibrating. Now after it stopped vibrating and died my microphone doesn't work so I can't make phone calls or anything using the mic without a bluetooth. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PHONE TO ANYONE NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY
Had two of these.. Both experienced same problems after awhile.. SD card not recognized.. Pics missing constantly.. Very frustrating.. Pretty decent when it worked but just not worth the hassle. Very unreliable. I'm a longtime Boost customer as my needs are few and I'm not that demanding when it comes to phones and features.. Gave ZTE one last shot and picked up the ZTE Warp Elite.. Night and Day.. Couldn't be happier.. Blazing fast and zero glitches.. Thanks ZTE... now discontinue the Speed before your reputation is tarnished!
