love the phone, the easy way it is set up. great first smart phone for a not so smart grandma. enjoying it very much. now I have to get a case for it.

Better then i expected
I would recommend this phone as far as price and features it has. I have only heard good reviews from people I know who have it. I purchased as a gift for my college aged son and for the price is a pretty decent phone.
My grandson saved up his allowance and purchased the phone. He is very happy with it an said he would recommend it to friends!
I got this phone when it 1st came out needing a new device. Activation was a bit of a stuggle because lte is not good in my area. Wifi is weak, however the size of the screen is good, frontcamera is okay and back works well. Video comes out okay, has video editor, flash light, quick memo, screen rotation, blue tooth. Works well wile under data cap and you can switch to 3g if preferred. Boost moble towers are on an off so i dont want to blame the phone per say. Battery life lasts decent for a heavy user which i am web surfing,movies ect. I switched from a Kyocera hydro (wouldn't recommend) to this and there is a big difference. Phone can get warm using certain apps so just keep an eye on that. Over all a good phone worth the price.

just stopped working at 13 months - one month past the warranty period.Nothing wrong with the battery - says it's the computer crashed. wont reset and when I do get it to power on it only gets to the lg screen and then shuts off
I got my LG tribute5 about 3to 4 months ago and I'm haveing an overheating problem I don't think it should be recommended it gets so hot that if u pick it up after charging u could burn your hand.it is a fire hazzerd [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
