I purchased this phone to replace a LG Tribute - this one has twice the internal memory and a better response time from the touchscreen... Overall, this is a good buy!!!
This is my 1st "modern" cell phone with my last being an old flip phone. It was fairly easy to learn and like it quite a lot. The only thing is i wish i could assign individual text tones to each contact. I can assign ringtones to each but not txt tones.
Pros: Android 5.1 runs fast and doesn't have any noticable glitches. HD calling makes voices crystal clear when talking to someone who also has the HD feature. The power and volume buttons are on the back of the phone so you don't accidentally press them when you push the phone into your pocket. It allows you to turn your phone into a WiFi hotspot anytime. Everything works like it's supposed to... no glitches. Cons: Battery life is a little short, but it's enough to get you through the day. In conclusion, I like this phone very much. My old phone (Kyocera Hydro Vibe) would crash every time I opened a Google based app. All my apps work perfect with the LG Tribute 2. It's a great looking phone too. For me, this is a great value, especially since it's only $40 per month for unlimited talk, text, and 3GB of high speed 4G LTE data. I got my first cell phone in 1995, and it cost me over a dollar per minute to use it. Plus, the phone cost me $300! It had NO features... Just talk. These new phones are so cheap, and they can perform complex tasks such as multi core processing needed to play 3D games. People take this technology for granted, but some of us older folks think it's pretty awesome!
Excellent value. Has most of the features anyone needs in a basic Android phone. Does what I need for a fraction of the price of an I phone.
Its a fictional smartphone. Good battery life. I like to memo pad and the calculator that the first LG tribute didn't have. The thing i dont like is the very little storage usable storage space
I have owned this phone almost a year. Initially very happy with my purchase until I added a few apps and haven't been able to even update my system due to lack of memory space since. Like mentioned elsewhere I added a memory card but unable move very little from my main memory. Now I keep my phone down to a couple extra apps.
Nice phone for the price and works great sometime better then my Galaxy. But provided you are not intending on adding any applications. Over 2/3's of it's intrn-memory is already taken up by the Virgin Mobile and LG running Apps programs. Virgin reps are very helpful , even to a fault, as they can't simply tell you that you must purchase a new phone if you need to add anything more then 4 apps. But really as far as a nice workable phone, you cant beat it for the price.
Dont get it. You cant download without running out of storage space. It won't let you save to SD card. I called LG and Virgin phone company. No help. Don't get it.
Call quality is inaudible as is trying to listen to music even with earphones. Text message interface is small and very glitchy and slow and CONSTANTLY CRASHES. Both cameras are fuzzy the zoom doesn't work properly. The memory wont let you download anything to SD card. Couldn't even load 12 Apps without insufficient storage from day one. The rear cover comes loose causing the power and volume buttons to short out . I have to press the back cover in to power on . Screenshotting is impossible now. Also the processors are slow and very glitchy . The phone constantly crashes and gets stuck on load screens even text messaging screen with 4G 3G or WiFi. The WiFi looses signal while no other phones or laptops in my home do. This phone is by far the worst electronic item purchase I've ever made. A friend of mine also bought the phone with exactly the same issues. The only positive is the low price for service . Definitely going to change phones. The service is good but this phone is absolute junk DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE !!!
Don't waste your time. It's internal memory is small and most of it is taken up by Virgin Mobile bloatware but it won't let you change your default memory to your SD card. This whole phone is a trainwreck.
