I use this regularly to clean and condition my tack all the time. It is so quick and easy and gets the job done!
I have been using this for years on all my gear. And its is my main product for cleaning before a show. Never go without having it with me on road as well.
I deep clean and condition my saddles just a few times a year and this product has been a staple in my box for a long time. It's so quick and convenient to clean and condition.
This is by far my favorite product to clean and condition my leather equipment when I'm in a hurry. Works just like it says it will.
Having had horses for over 50 years I have several all time favourite tack room essentials and this is one of them. It leaves the tack clean, supple and non sticky and does not mark your clothes. It is quick to use as well, and is also economical to use.
I love this stuff. After years of using saddle soap and neatsfoot oil, this is so much easier and actually cheaper. You only need to use one product and that is this one.
It's about as effective as 2-in-1 shampoo. I have used exactly three tubs of this in my lifetime, and each time I have been slightly disappointed. It is really easy to get a white residue on your leather. I hate wearing gloves, and it takes a while to get the greasy lanolin feeling off of your hands. That being said, it has always done the job of conditioning my tack.
It gets stuck in the stitching and difficult to get out. It does however do well with conditioning and softening leather.
I've used this product a couple of times to clean my saddles but every time it left a slight white film on it. Was not happy with it. They looked worse after cleaning them.
This product leaves white residue and doesn't condition as well as other products. If it came in a clear formula, I would like it better.
