I've tried all other softener's, but always come back to Downy. I grew up with this product back in the 60's, because that's what my Mother used too.
It is hard to ship liquids without getting the product all over the other items in your order but Jet does a great job of proactively reducing leakage during shipping. This came to us in its own plastic bag, making it very easy to wipe off any residue, and it did not leak onto my other products in the same order.Thank you!
Downey always leaves my clothes smelling fresh. Downey Mountain Spring has no dyes so the liquid will not leave blue color on your clothes if accidentally spilled on them.

I've used this product for years, and I love it, especially the Mountain Spring. Unfortunately this bottle was shipped lying down on its side. It must have been at the bottom of the delivery truck because it leaked out over everything I had ordered. The box was literally dripping on delivery. I just discarded the remains of the bottle. My cost is supposed to be returned to my credit card. However Downy is really a great product. I went up to the store when I was able and picked up another bottle.
Could not find this in the Walmart stores for over a month. I was so excited to find that they still had it online! I love Downy fabric softener! I have a two year old and he is hard on his clothes. Using Downy helps to keep them in good shape, soft, and I swear it seems to keep the color new looking for longer! I am disappointed that my local store (0424) doesn't sale the lavender scented Downy because I buy that for our pajamas and bedclothes. I couldn't be happier with the performance of Downy as a softener and with the scent. It leaves all of our clothes looking and smelling very nice.
Downy mountain fresh is the only softener I use.
I love using Downy because it leaves my clothes with a very rich and soft smell. You have to use this brand, I just didn't find another one that I like as much as this one will leave your clothes with that special smell
Downy fabric sheets used to have a great long lasting smell however something has changed. The fragrance is barely noticeable and I'm finding myself using more than I used to due to static cling. Very disappointing.
