I own several Citizen watches and I'm very partial to these time pieces due to their ability to keep accurate time and never having to change out a battery. They are well made and designed. Being equipped with an Eco-Drive is a huge plus having not to replace a battery every year. I purchased the Perpetual Chrono A-T, AT4106-52X, watch and have owned for several months now. The watch and band is elegant and at the same time has a sophisticated look. It looks good whether in a suit or casual dress. The face of the watch is well designed. You can get the information you need at a glance. I find people stealing glances at the watch all the time. This watch receives a timing signal from Fort Collins, Colorado which keeps the watch accurate to the second. So, if you're looking for an attractive sophisticated watch that keeps impeccable time, this is for you.
I absolutely LOVE this watch!!! My criteria for selecting this watch were: 1) Fully solar powered; 2) Accurate; 3) Waterproof; 4) Day; 5) Date; and finally, if possible, 6) Atomic self-setting (e.g. sets accurate time via radio reception of the US Bureau of Standards radio station WWVB.) This watch accomplishes ALL of that. I have accessed the NBS HF time & frequency stations WWV, and compared their minute tone to my second hand, and the watch always is exactly on the second. I wanted waterproof to some degree, and got 660ft/200M!!! Finally, it is VERY solidly made. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Purchased this 3 months ago for the quality and reputation. Second the look and features. I have had several other brands and nothing compares to quality and features and a price that is affordable.
I bought this watch 6 weeks ago and found it has become my favorite watch. The styling allows me to wear it for most occasions. It keeps time very accurately. I am very pleased with my purchase. The only negative is that where I live in Central Florida, the signal from the atomic clock seems very weak. My watch has trouble getting a strong enough signal to adjust its time. Fortunately, it has a programmed time that is also very accurate, so it is not critical to have a strong signal. I would definitely recommend purchasing this watch.
This is my second time piece from Citizen and I'm looking to purchase two more.
I purchased this watch for my recent Anniversary. This two toned beauty stood out to me and I was hooked when i put it on my wrist. And oh the features! How about atomic time, solar powered battery, and a Perpetual calendar?! The watch is great with business attire or jeans and a T. And the price. Two words. Affordable luxury!
I have been looking at this model for months and when it came out in gold as of 2016 the wait was over. The radio portion keeps perfect time, the never having to replace batteries were the main reasons for me to buy. The watch is also handsome and gets compliments from people who never notice those things. Wish I had this when I was at Fedex where the minutes REALLY counted.
This watch looks great. The rose gold accenting the yellow gold is beautiful. Functions easy to use. Great for North America with the time selections and the ALT TIME will work anywhere. Feels good on the wrist. Atomic Clock time means I'm on time. Never needing a battery is a plus too.
I received this watch as a Christmas gift. Love it! The accuracy is amazing, as well as the looks. This is my "dress" watch, as I use a Navihawk AT for my daily-wear/work watch. I appreciate the fact that it never needs to be reset, because if the "Atomic" calibration feature. Once it is initially set, it stays accurate. Beautiful! In addition, the Eco-Drive system keeps the wstch going without a worry. The only drawback is that the display is not illuminated. The hands do glow for some time, if exposed to light, but a constant glow or backlight feature would make it absolutely fantastic.
Bought it 2 years ago and I love to wear it. Its style draws comments. Keeps perfect time and only once stopped for lack of sunlight (while it was kept out of the light for some quite time). After coping with the detailed instructions for reset, much of it did self-correct over the period of a few days.
