I bought this in-ground basketball system because my portable system acted like a kite and kept blowing over, thus getting destroyed. I was able to salvage the 52" backboard and saw this system accpeted Spalding backboards of this size. I now have a super solid basketball system that isn't going anywhere. Putting together everything takes time and oftentimes you need an additional set of hands. It's hardly a one-person job. It takes at least two days to get this system up, given that you need to pour concrete not only in the hole but also into the pole. Just don't rush things and make sure the concrete is cured and everything is plum. If you're diligent with the steps you'll be happy with the end product. Good luck!
