We could not find a youth paddle in stores near us so we went online and found this one at a great price. It's lightweight and very easy to use for our 7 year old!
Got this paddle with the DASH 66 YOUTH KAYAK and works perfectly for our little girl! Shipping was simple and the standard push button assembly is very handy for storage and then "click" you're ready to explore! The weight is perfect for kids.
We got a paddle with our daughters kayak and I'm so glad that we did. It's easy to hold onto and makes it easy to get to where you want to go! It's easy to balance as well so if your taking a break you can set it across your kayak and it stays there! It comes apart for easy storage.

THIS IS A GREAT PADDLE FOR THE SMALL FRAMED PERSON. MYWHOLE FAMILY USES THIS PADDLE IN AN OLD TOWN PACK CANOE. A ONE PERSON CANOE. I HAD TO ADD SOME DRIP RINGS, WHICH SHOULD OF COME WITH, BUT THAT WAS EASY.
This paddle worked great for each of our kids (ages 6,9,11,12). It is lightweight and very maneuverable for them. They were using it with a Lifetime youth kayak, and were able to control the kayak with ease. We appreciate that the paddle disconnects easily in the middle, and splits in to two halves. That is useful for storage, but also because our kids sometimes put more than one kid on the kayak, and then they can both have a paddle. We also liked the feature that there are two options for connecting the paddle together: one where both ends (blades) of the paddle are flat (at the same angle as eachother), and one option where the paddle blades are offset from eachother by 90 degrees. Depending on the user's approach to paddling, both of these settings can be useful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Perfect paddle to go with the Lifetime Wave youth kayak. Shorter than a full size paddle making it ideal for a younger user. I purchased a kayak and a longer professional paddle and I know my grandkids will want to try it so this one is perfect.
Great paddle for a kid or very small adult. Well built for the low price. Looks like it will last a long time. No complaints, yet.
This is the perfect paddle for a kid t start Kayaking. They are not top paddles, but it really all you need to get your child out there and have fun. He/She, will soon grow out of them and if they are up to continue Kayaking then you can buy better paddles.
Does the job. My son complains it needs a grip, because your just holding the metal tube and when it gets wet it's hard to control. Other than that it works just fine.
