Excellent product; size is given a little small. I wear a size 10 shoe; ordered the 9. Perfect fit, excellent quality, excellent value
These waders fit very well, and they are easy to maneuver in. I have used them a few times already, and I have nothing but good things to say.
Glad I purchased these. I was worried about being cold in the Pacific Ocean so I went neoprene, was warm the whole time, stayed dried, and the boots are great at walking on the moss.
Being the president of fishing club Striped Bass Masters located in Long Island NY, the Hodgman waders had being our #1 choice when it comes to fishing waders, they keep you dry and warm especially on those cold nights of fishing, I recomend them to all our club members (*50+) and counting and we're very happy with their products.
A great buy! In cold water around 35 degrees they keep you warm even with just basketball shorts on underneath. They fit a size smaller than your shoe, for instance i wear a 10.5 and bought the 10 and they fit perfect. Form to your body in or out of the water. The felt sole is a great feature when your in a strong current, it helps hold your footing. The extra large pocket in front is very usefull for anything smaller than a tackle box. The neoprene is quick drying when you step out of the water into the sun.
I bought these a couple weeks ago. Price was right...Tried them on and they fit well. First pair of neoprene waders. Looking forward to trying them out in a couple weeks.
Make sure you wear something thick/heavy where the boot meets the wader. I wore jeans and they rode up exposing my calf to a serious chafe from the top of the boot. No leaks , felt worked great on those slippery Klamath river rocks. Sucked up the chafe and got three nice rainbows !!!
Been looking around for a good wader for the past couple of weeks since the beginning of trout season this year. Since I've been working on a budget, it took me a bit. When I saw this set for $82.00 at my local Walmart, I figured I should get them. Normally I'm a size 13, I got the box listed for a size 12 and it was snug as a glove. Also it wasn't too tight on my body giving me more comfort compared to other ones that made me feel like I was in a sardine can. Shoulder straps were very easily adjusted as well as comfortable as well. Also the felt on the bottom of the boots is also nice addition to this wader! When it comes to the water, you can tell it's a well made product! No leaks, keeps you nice and warm in the semi-chilly streams and creeks in Pennsylvania. All in all, It's a good product worth every penny to an angler who wants to reach those parts of the stream that are not normally accessible to people on land while still being kept nice and warm. Your favorite fishing pole, these waders, a good fishing vest filled with your tackle , and a good set of polarized sunglasses will equal a good day on any water way!
Lighter then i thought,and these waders are higher then most.Excellent for the cooler streams in PA, AS with all waders i recommend the hangers Walmart sells for$6.00. They keep boots from cracking and they dry faster
