Great product, I enjoy hiking in the park with lotsa trees, bushes..and the clip- on kept the little buggers at bay
Anybody who has experienced unsatisfactory results with this marvellous device must have bug attractive skin or is counteracting the effectiveness of the retardant by wearing excessive cologne or other odor enhanced skin lotion. Make sure the device isn't covered by an over hanging shirt or concealed in your pocket, and be sure that the replaceable repellant refill is still alive and not fully spent. PS: In case you are wondering, I am NOT a business associated of OFF or its product line in any way.
I used this product twice over the weekend. At a picnic and while watching the fireworks. Didn't get any mosquito bites and did not have a lot of bugs flying around me. Before I turned it on, however, I did notice a lot of gnats flying around and none while it was on. I noticed that they had come back and when i looked at the fan I noticed that it was off. So, it's worked fine for me and I would use it again. I wasn't by a lake or woods and I was just sitting down not doing much activity. Don't know if that really makes a difference.
Wore it for the first time at a social gather near the lake. I generally get bit up pretty bad anywhere. I had high hopes for this due to friends recomendations, but it did not keep me bite free, though it did seem to help some. I will just stick to the Deep Woods spray which I know works great. I just hate spray on the skin feeling, but its worth it to be totally bite free. Looking at the design, I just can't see how the liquid is supposed to get to the dryer sheet over the fan. I had the clip-on running for more than 10 hours and the green liquid was still all there at the end of the day. It has been sitting on a shelf since then and still no reduction in the liquid level.
Description says ""starter kit,"" photo says ""contains 2 repellent refills."" It is a starter kit and NOT refills. Not what I needed. Product works well.
No impressed with it can barely feel the fan. So not secure with it. Take the spray over his and only 1 filter which doesn't tell you I order mire she you order the kit. Guess it was a blessing as I won't be ordering any more not worth the price or not feeling secure with it.
