Was very satisfied ordered on sat. may 8 had by tues. may 13 took my husband just a few minutes to assemble. bought it for 3 year old grandson. he peddles it easily. did not want to purchase tricycle as this will grow with him as we only have him 1 week a month.still learing how the break works as with tricycle he has at home does not have breaks. But he loves it. only wish that the litlle zip ties for the spiderman shield were stronger they are already broke so I need to reattach the spiderman shield. But does not affect the operation of the bike. but my little granson wants it back on as he calls this my motorcycle. and wants to know why nana took it off. and we all know the urgency 3 year olds have on wanting things fixed.
I purchased this bike for my son's 4th birthday thinking it was a little bigger than it was. He is about to big for it. He i s almost 5 now and is about the size of a 6 year old. I saw that it is rated for age up to 8 but i wouldn't recommend oveer the age 4. But it is a pretty sturdy product and my son loves it. My 2 year old daughter even likes to sit on it, but she can't pedal yet!
Bought this for my son, for his 3rd birthday, and he loves it. Easy to put together...and it is the perfect height for my son. Good Value!
This bike was not the one my husband and I had originally picked out for our son's 3rd birthday, but I'm glad we went with it. My son was thrilled with his Spiderman bike! It seems to be mechanically sound and doesn't seem to have any damage from shipping or assembly. I've read reviews that said this bike falls apart quickly. I hope this is not the case. It's a great looking bike, was priced fairly, and is the perfect size for my little guy! He's only had it a few days, but so far, so good.
I bought this bike for my two year old grandson. It has spiderman on it and he is crazy about spiderman. Overall it is a great bike. I think the plate on the front is cheap, in fact when we went to put it on with the zipties the zipties broke. Other than that I like it, he will grown into it and I think will get a lot of enjoyment out of it for a least a couple years.
Just recently purchased this bike for my 3 yr old son. He is a very active, coordinated kid and he even had difficulty pedaling as past reviews have stated. When examining the bike further the pedals are directly below the seat vs. slightly forward of the seat, which doesn't give you as much leverage. Our son is also average height for a 3 yr old and when fitted correctly the seat was as high as it could go, which left no room for growth. Very disappointed and returned it to the store.
My 3.5 year old likes this bike. But I am not crazy about how it has held up. He knows how to ride a bike and puts a lot of use on it, but over just a few months the training wheels seem worn down and the tires keep deflating. We have the fold up radio flyer bike that he has had for two years now, and was a hand me down, and that is in much better shape. He seem to go to for that one a lot still.
We have had this bike for 4 months, we bought this bike for our 3 year old son, because of the good reviews but about 2 months after we bought it we noticed the training wheels coming loose. 4 months in owning the bike and the training wheels constantly need tightening and now the tire tread is all gone and actually has a hole in the tire from it. We now have to replace both tires front and back, front because all the pressure of the bike is on the front tire. We also have to replace the tube which costs almost as much as the bike. We are VERY VERY unpleased by this bike.
Our 4 year old grandson loves his Spiderman bike. Rides it all over our 40'x40' family room leaving black skid marks all over the hardwood floors. Oh well.... Only thing is, the chain keeps coming off. I had read this in another review before we purchased the bike. If we had to do it over again, we would purchase a more expensive model that might not have this problem. It is quite a ordeal to get the chain back on, everytime it comes off.
We got this for our son's birthday. The first one had issues with the back wheel wobbling. Exchanged it for a different one and after a few weeks, same problem again. Couple months later, spokes have broken off and bike is no longer useable. Very frustrated and disappointed!
