I wore this during an event where I crashed and my head snapped against the asphalt when I landed. The front part of it crumpled in to absorb the force of the blow. Since that happened, I've been to my local bike shops to find a replacement, but came back here because of the value and the strength of this product. I know it works as it should from experience (one that I don't want to experience again!). I also like the visor. Stay safe!
At first, I was a little disappointed when I received the helmet and noticed that the carbon fiber "cover" on top of the helmet was just a thin sheet of plastic with a carbon fiber overlay. As I looked at the construction of the helmet, it felt very light and I seen nothing but styrofoam under this plastic covering. I then press into the top part of the styrofoam and it was indeed hard. If you don't know, carbon fiber is extremely light-weight and is 3x stronger than steel. I then looked at the helmet in a different light. I really like this helmet. It even matches the color of my bike perfectly. It is really light and I barely notice it's there on my head, sort of like a hat. What I'm really happy about is the price I paid for it at Wal-Mart. It was $17+ before taxes and I later found this exact helmet at a retail sporting goods store for $30! Bell is an excellent helmet too, so I know I can trust that this helmet is good to go!
Easy to adjust. . It comes with a visor that is easily removed. very light helmet and well balanced but still provides good protection. Good buy for casual rider.
Fit was good, price was good, very happy with helmet, hope I never fall off bike and test functionality.

Can't beat this helmet for the price. It is light, very adjustable and visor helps protect from sun and light rain.
Great fit. I was slightly dissapointed that it comes with a stupid looking visor, but this is easily removed and some may want it there. Light helmet and well balanced but still provides good protection. Good buy for the budget concious.
I purchased this product because I liked the colors and it is lightweight. Fits comfortably, it was easy to remove the sun visor in the front because I did not like how it looked.
