best tv ever Great picture quality Neo Qled is one if the best tv out there you really see the 4k in this tv. plus gaming is another great thing about this tv you won't regret it . i recommend getting a sound bar and surround sound bass box omg you feel like you are in the movies.
I bought this TV just a few days ago. I have to say, it's the best television I have owned. Everything is displayed with vivid colours and contrast (turn on dynamic mode if you want to witness its true beauty) and the HDR+10 is brilliant! Gaming looks incredible in 4k on my Xbox Series X and I can't fault it. Although the TV speakers sound great with Dolby Atmos, I purchased the Samsung Q60C soundbar. It now looks and sounds like I'm in the cinema. One thing to take note is that on certain films that use a dark tone, I had to increase the ST.2084 and Shadow Detail to be able to see the picture clearly during dark scenes. I usually use either Intelligent Optimised mode or dynamic depending on the film, and this happens in both picture modes. I own the 55" model and I am not disappointed. I have been with Samsung for many years now, and will do for many years to come.
I did a lot of research as to which TV to buy. And after lots of reading and comparing, found that the Neo QLED was the best of both world all the benefits of the QLED picture quality, with the near OLED black but a lot brighter. And whe I say brighter, I mean brighter. Often you see a TV in the store please 4k content, and then find yourself a little underwhelmed when you get it home, and play normal TV on it. And that is not the case with the NEO QlED, everything you watch look stunning and UHD content is a real feast for the eyes. The quality and birthess of the picture gives it an almost 3D quality. An amazing TV so pleased with it, especially when seamlessly paired up with a Samsung Q soundbar. And set off with some Govee Lights.
Image quality is great i realy love it i just bought yhis tV to replace my sony KDS TV. And I very pleased with my choice
Great picture. Clear and bright. No issues. Have connected Sky Q, Wii, Xbox and Blu ray player via HDMI. Also connected Samsung N-400 soundbar via Optical and BT. Setup simple. Logging in to the various smart apps was made easy too. Only problem is PIP is always greyed out. Can't watch Sky while playing Xbox.
Immaculate picture and tonnes of features. Only negative is the recording/scheduled viewing which plays up just like every other Samsung tv I've bought since 2014/15, however, in my opinion, there's no TV out there beats Samsung just like all their other devices. Highly recommended if you want quality and almost true lifelike viewing.
This Samsung QE43QN90B on software version 1304 has a fault when used in Satellite mode it does not show TV guide. As of the time I write this review, it still has not been fixed. The fault H a 's been reported to samsung technical & still nothing has been done. What see I the fault. - when you connect the cable from your sky dish & you then use "Satellite MODE" as it let's you re-numer the channels to your order that is most watched in your household which it does well ( credit where it is due) after you do this step when you press tv guide it shows message "No Information" where it would show program start times & program names but it shows none of these details. A 2022 tv where the TV guide in satellite mode does not work. My advise to anyone that has bought this TV (if you have a Sky dish connect the cable & check if it can be repaired or samsung gets off it's backside to release a software fix that solves the fault then I would say it is one of the best TV'S I n the market. I would also have no reservations in buying this TV again once the fault has been fixed. The terrestrial Freeview & Freesat services work including g the EPG but the best mode on this TV is Satellite Mode & it has a beautiful picture, once you set it up & tweak the settings but after doing all that you will then not b 3 able to see what is on because the EPG in SATELLITE mode is where it all falls apart. I connected my Sky HD set box & using same dish & cable the Sky EPG works with no issues but when you try EPG on the Samsung QE43QN90B the EPG does not work. Samsung tech support were of no help as even after they remotely connected in to my QE43QN90B tv via broadband they still said my dish must be faulty. I said to them if that was true my Sky HD box would also not show EPG but it works. You can lead a horse to water but you can not make it drink. All other features on this TV work but it is sods law the one that you need to work properly does not. Buyers beware.
If you are a gamer, DO NOT buy this TV in its current 1420 firmware state. Back when I bought this TV in April, it was perfect (5 stars worthy). The TV had VRR, 4 HDMI 2.1 ports and the picture and colour looked beautiful (especially in HDR). However, after the 1420 update, there are constant VRR issues and HDR gaming has been broken to where colours look dull, grey and washed out to the point where SDR looks better (I have provided 2 pictures, the colourful one is in SDR and the dull one is in HDR). Samsung has yet to comment on this issue so be aware if your thinking of getting this TV for gaming.
I was so looking forward to getting this tv, I was so disappointed when I placed on the wall and I noticed a horozontal line straigh through the center of the screen, I called the service line and arranged a technician 3 weeks later the screen was repaired, if I had wanted a refurbished one I would have brought one and saved a ton of money, to say the least , the novelty of the new TV had worn off and I had lost interest
I can't believe my 4 year old samsung QLED was a better TV then this. I wish I never changed my TV. The dark/blacks are not even cinema worthy. HD has to be super bright with the video itself recorded in daylight to be considered HD quality. If you are watching a programme that has been recorded in low light ( which is most series/films) then prepare to be disappointed. 80% of programmes have random blur to the bottom of the screen especially when the camera man is panning across the set slowly. Awful TV! Samsung - spend more money on producing better quality TVs then spending money on multiple TV models!!
