Just what I was looking for, but the store did not have it- right price and easy to use.
My windows start aboot 6 inches off the ground and with my 1yr old i didn't want her to be banging on the window and damage it or hurt herself in anyway, so I bought this just for that and it went right in easily and has done its job well by protecting her and the window.. kinda a soft rubbery feel.. Reading the previous reviews, I definitely wouldn't try this for a doorway , somewhere you'd have to constantly mess with, it doesn't seem that sturdy, at least on the window it protects for the 20 mins of playtime when she gets distracted by the people outside throughout the day.. If you need to protect a window i would definitely recommend....it could be a bit cheaper for how cheap its made, but i bought IN STORE for $12.00, So i would look in your local wally world before buying one online?..
At least in my doorways, they don't. Couldn't get the little lever thing stretched far enough to latch in place. Ordered two, returning them for some that hopefully work!
You get what you pay for. The gate worked for a short while with limited used. But then it broke on the sides and made splinters..
Installed, it used it for maybe a day- and then the locking cross bar exploded into splinters. After examining the cut of the wood closely theres no way this would work- becuase the pressure is across the grain not parallel to the grain so of course it broke.
