I bought this gate 10 years ago and its still working perfectly. It looks great with my hardwood floors.
We've used this gate for both the dog and the baby! Easy to set up and has several extenders for different size walkways. Would buy again. Can stand outdoor elements. We've had ours for about 3 years and still in good condition.
We have had this gate for 3 years now and we love it so much! Its so great having it swing open rather than undoing the the gate from the wall and remounting it. We love the color(we have the dark wood) and we love the design. We have it fully extended in a large open area between our kitchen and livingroom and it's perfect. I can keep the kids in the livingroom while i prepare a meal. They can come to the gate and have no worries if they push on it that it will fall down, it's just perfect! The only thing that i would maybe change would be to have it swing both ways. If they could change it to do that, it would be even better :)
We bought this gate soon after our son was born. It matched our oak staircase railings and lasted for 8 years until a large sofa was dropped on it and broke one of the hinges. I call support and they shipped out the replacement part for free in less than a week. Thanks Evenflo for the great product and great service after the sale!

This gate is perfect for my home. It is decorative so it doesn't scream baby gate yet still easy to use. It is easy to open and close and install was fairly easy. For now I only need one but in the future when I need more I will definitely purchase more.
We use these gates for our porches to keep the kids from going off the porches down the stairs. They work great. They're reliable and durable. Can withstand two children ramming into it every change they get over a year. So I'd say it's worth the money!
We overall liked this metal gate by evenflo! It was what we needed at the time to block off our kitchen door way. However it was a pain to keep our kids from just knocking it down. My husband had to rig it to prevent it from falling. It's a okay baby gate but for the price I feel like it should be made a little better.
The design and style offered by this gate can't be found anywhere else. We have one that we've used for ~6 years, and the gate itself is in great shape and is a great stylistic complement to our home. That said, the gate is manufactured with very cheap plastic mounting hardware that does not stand the test of time. There have even been recalls and reports of injury. Evenflo can, and should, do better in this regard.
This baby gate broke more times than I can count! We kept having to put it back together and eventually threw it in the trash where it belongs. Waste of money and I would not repurchase!!!!
