Very pleased with this gate. Does the job and is very sturdy.
i bought the gate to keep my little dog in and the little kids out.
Perfect, Now The Dogs Cant Get Into The Other Room And Eat The Cats Food.
I purchased this gate online and the shipping was incredible. It was at my door way before I expected it to be, which was lovely. It serves its purpose well but I would recommend if you wanted something to last for more than one child, perhaps choose a sturdier gate. This one is great, light weight, easy to use and is effective.
I bought 3 for standard doors. Works for my 14 month 25 lb baby and 45 lb dog. A little tight to move at first but they loosen up. Not wide enough to block of a hall I tried to block off. Pressure mounted no screws required so great for renters. I never tried the plastic ones so I am not sure if these are better or worse but these work great for the price!
The price makes up for the fact that it's really hard to adjust the width of the gate. For our purposes (dogs) it's good enough. I don't think I'd use it with children.
Had to return it as it did not fit the space we needed it to mount too.
not a steady struc
Despite this product having very mixed reviews, I decided to order it due to the fact that it was very inexpensive. Having just acquired a large breed puppy, there were several areas of varying widths that were going to require barriers. The design of this gate has a series of settings which means if your areas where you need it are not an exact fit to one of the settings, you are out of luck. Despite having five different size spots where I need a gate, none of them were a fit with this poorly designed gate. Even if I had a spot in which I could have made it fit, I seriously doubt if it would have been of much use. Due to the fact that there is no form of spring tension to form a tight fit, it would not be able to support much weight of a toddler or even small puppy leaning on it before coming out of place. Cheap and rickety. Doesnt stay up would not recommend anyone to buy. I bought it for our 3lb pomeranian puppy to keep him confined and he was able to knock it over again and again. Dont waste your money
