I bought one for my baby's room...loved it so much I bought one for my 3 years old! I love that I can talk to them. This is how I wake my older child for preschool! The baby (really 18 month) still wakes twice through the night. We decided to let her cry it out. I was adamant about buying a video monitor. Best choice ever! This crazy momma with control issues is very happy!
Ordered this product on a Sunday and received it on Wed with standard shipping. Great product with very easy set-up. Clear screen and very portable. Only have had it for a day, but love it so far.
Motion Sensitive, Sound Sensitive, this unit alerts you when the baby wakes up from his movement or wimpering/crying. The Lullaby Feature generates soft music for the baby to relax to. We love the mobility of the monitor, it goes with us and functions everywhere in the house. Great Product!!
I wish I could turn the video on/off and still have sound regardless like my previous monitor, but I understand it is to save the battery. This is much more durable than my previous monitor (summer infant) and I like having the intercom and temperature (not options on my previous, more expensive monitor!). I would recommend this monitor to anyone!!!
Excellent photo quality. The night vision is amazing. When she gets fussy, I can press the music icon on the parent unit and a lullaby plays on her unit. Also, it works like a walkie talkie. So, I can talk to Josephine via the parent unit. Super product.
I'm a father of 3. I did a lot of research before buying this, to include purchasing anothor monitor by Tek-Tok that was a huge disappointment. If you wan a great monitor at a great price without having to pay over $200, this is the perfect choice. We've had it now for about two weeks and are extreemely pleased. Here are the highlights: Video Quality - superb. We have a WiFi network at home and a lot of electronic devices running. We've never had any interference problems. We live in a two story, 2700 sq ft house and have always had a clear picture no matter where the monitor or camera have been placed. Audio Quality - again, superb. There is a small amount of static at max volume, but otherwise, its crystal clear. This monitor also has a number of features that you would expect from high-end, expensive products: VOX - you can set the picture to be turned on automatically based on a user-selectable noise sensativity level. Lulaby Music - select from 5 different songs and turned on from the monitor. The sound is a little on the soft side, but loud enough to sooth a baby. Talk to Baby - two way communication with your baby. This is great also for parents to talk to eachother without screaming late at night. You can read the rest of the features on the website. You won't be disappointed with this monitor.
This is a FANTASTIC monitor. Everything we wanted/expected and MORE! The nightlight is perfect, the images are great, and you really can see in total darkness. The lullabies are soothing for our children!
My daughter is 7 months now, and we have had this monitor since she was born. She slept in our room for the first 4 months than she moved into her room and we started to use this monitor more often. Well within a month of using it the camera stopped working and we sent it back and they fixed it and returned back to us...took several weeks with no monitor. Now, its back to having issues. This time, its the camera, i cant take it off the charger at all. It dies within 15 minutes! Not only those issues, but there have been small things i havent enjoyed either. The vibration detection randomly vibrates when my daughter is sound asleep and no movement, the lullaby (which i love the feature) cuts in and out which does not really help her go to sleep when its so choppy. I was very excited about this monitor but how good can it be when i have to constantly return it and wait weeks to recieve a replacement or it to be fixed?
I have been using the monitor for about 3 months and the camera completely stopped working. It is under warranty so I should be able to get a replacement easily. However, I have completed the form on the company's website and called a couple of times with zero response. I sumbitted the form on the website over a week ago and it said someone would call me with two days - nothing. So I called Tuesday and spoke to someone and they told me someone would call me Wednesday. Today is Friday and I've recieved nothing. Horrible customer service experiece and I still don't have a monitor.
*DO * NOT * BUY * Worked great for about 3 months... then the camera would not power up. Called the warranty number and waited for 30 min and they told me they could not help me and would have to transfer my "case" to the company (um, isn't that who I was trying to talk to in the first place?). Got in touch with them. Silly me, let them charge my credit card for another monitor, they sent it, I sent the broken one... (so I have one monitor and have paid for two at this point) and had to wait 4 weeks for them to credit my account... they had to test my broken one and decide themselves that it was broken. THEN the second hand-held unit flashes green, chops my baby up into segments (sounds terrible, but the screen would put her all over the place), lullaby feature won't work...and finally, of course, the camera won't power up again!!! Oh- and one more thing before it completely stopped working, we took the baby out of the crib to change her, and the screen still showed her in the crib. I took photos of an empty crib with the monitor in it...showing her sleeping there. (the file was too big to post in this review...grrr) As my title suggests...TERRIBLE!! (I took it back to the store, told them what happened and showed them photos and they gave me store credit)
