We love this product. It is easy to set up and use. The sound quality is excellent. It works day and night. The product description did not include that information. We are first time parents and found this monitor extremely handy!
I am very impressed with this monitor. I have a 17 day old son, my first, with a nursery upstairs. I wanted a monitor that would allow me to monitor him from everywhere in my home and this monitor is it. It has very clear audio and video. The zoom feature is great, the image on zoom isn't as clear but it's still very crisp and I really like the size of the monitor. I can take it downstairs and still get a clear connection with no issues. I like the fact that it has a re-chargeable battery and the camera has an emergency battery back up in case of power outage. I originally purchased a Summer Infant Video monitor, but we could never get it to work even after calling the manufacturer they said there was a defect in the monitor. So we returned it, and I decided to purchase this unit as it looked just as good in fact better for the distance. I am so glad I made that decision. Graco makes excellent products, we have several so this is another win!
We love this monitor! Bought it over a month ago for our four month old, as we were moving him to his own room in his crib. The sound quality is great, which I love and need at night. The video quality is VERY good! We can see him perfectly at night, and during the day during naps. There have been no issues with delays of the video, which I know several of my friends who have other brands of video monitors have to deal with. I absolutely love this monitor and would highly recommend.
While testing out the Graco True Focus Digital Video Baby Monitor, I found the range of the unit to be fantastic. We live in a two story house and had no issues with performance in any part of the house or even outside! Using the monitor in the daylight, the picture quality was crisp and clear. At night, the picture clarity wasn't as sharp, but I found this to be the case on other video monitors that I have used in the past and wouldn't pass this monitor up just because of this issue. One of my favorite things about the Graco True Focus Digital Video Baby Monitor was the zoom feature. I would have loved to have had this monitor when my son was an infant since he had reflux and I would have been able to see if he had spit up in his bed without entering the room! The audio on this monitor was top notch and picked up everything, even the slightest sounds. There is no mute button, however, once you turn the monitor volume on the lowest setting it was nearly silenced and you get visual cues with blinking lights on the parent unit whenever a noise is made. I also found the vibration feature handy as you can keep the parent unit in your pocket and still be alerted whenever your child makes a sound. Overall, I found the Graco True Focus Digital Video Baby Monitor to be a solid, quality product and a great value for the money that you pay. This monitor may not include some of the bells and whistles that other units provide (who really needs their monitor to play lullabies anyway?), however, it does what a baby monitor should do - it provides you with the peace of mind in knowing that your baby is safe while sleeping. This monitor was sent to me as a blogger to review and I quickly put it to use in my sister's grandchild's nursery. We loved the color monitor that you can clip on your belt and wear around your house and the digital zoom option makes it a stand out from other monitors on the market!
This is a really nice video monitor. Although I have not purchased any other brands this is a good system. However, it states in the product information that it works within 1000 feet but that is not true, this unit only seems to pick up to about 100 feet. I have not had it work farther than that, it seems to lose signal. It would also be better if you could turn the volume completely off, which is not an option.
This is a great monitor. Picture is very good and sound is crystal clear. We tried to do cheap Safety monitor with sound only but it didn't work at all in our house. This was a leap to buy since it's spendy but worth every penny! I wish the parent monitor could last longer on battery. We had a scheduled power outage at midnight. It lasted 6 hours. I woke up at 12:47 and it was on and running. But when I woke up again at 1:45 it was off. When I turned it on. Baby was awake and crying poor thing. So my guess it has a two hour limit to batteries. Baby slept with us rest of night.
This is the second monitor that I purchased, the first one was a Summer monitor that didn't work well. The only reason I gave it a "good rating" is that the picutre on the monitor at night can be a little difficult to see. The picture during the day is crystal clear. The monitor itself is small and so is the viewing screen, but that makes it easy to move around with. The distance you can get between the camera and the monitor without any problems is great. I love the fact that both units can run by battery. I purchased this monitor because of the great reviews I highly recommend it as well.
We got this monitor and had it for 2 years the first time we used it the battery didnt work and has never worked my husbond told me to return it and i should have listened. But in all i loved the monitor it worked great besided the battery problem. The picture is good. But now after 2 years of using it the ac adaptor broke for what you pay for the thing it should last alot longer.
This evening is our first time using the monitor at night. I have a very active two year old and I watch to make sure she stays in bed. I cannot see her at all! The screen appears almost completely black! What is the point of a video monitor that doesn't work in the dark? I am very disappointed and will look into returning this product.
