My 20 month old slept on this mattress in the graco pack'n play for a couple of nights while we were on vacation. She's not the best sleeper in general but she napped and slept overnight just fine in this. I'm very happy with it. It's comfortable too The only thing (and it's not the mattress's fault) but since it's 5 inches and my daughter is pretty tall, she could definitely climb out of the pack'n play if she stands in it. Luckily she didn't realize it!!
This mattress fit perfectly in the Graco Pac N Play. Exactly what I was wanting. I especially liked the 5" thickness and the cushioned support. Prior to ordering I did measure the width and length inside the base of the Pac and Play to make sure I was getting the right size. After delivery, I placed it in without any force and it fit perfectly. Fits nice & snug with no gapping. Also I received it a few days earlier than the estimated delivery date. Very pleased with this product!
We bought a Graco Playard with a bassinet insert for our newborn. It worked for the first 6 weeks but as soon as we put our son in his big boy crib with a real crib mattress he slept 6 hours through the night for the very first time! The thin cardboard and foam mattress that comes in the Graco playard just wasn't comfortable even with a thick quilted fitted mattress pad and sheet set. I thought that was the end of the use of our playard we spent good money on. However, we needed our son to sleep in the playard during naps at his grandparents' during the day when my husband and I are at work and school and sometimes overnight. So we splurged on this Dream on Me 5" Inner spring Playard Mattress so our son would be just as comfortable in the playard as in his crib at home. Although it was half the price of the playard itself, it was worth the extra cost for our son to continue sleeping through the night and taking is regular naps. It has turned out to be a great mattress and my son sleeps very well on it. He doesn't seem to toss and turn on it as much as he did on the original thin mattress. He's now 7 months old. It doesn't seem to interrupt his sleep pattern when we take him somewhere else. There's nothing worse than when your baby's sleep getting interrupted because he's not comfortable or used to sleeping on a different/firmer surface. I would definitely recommend for anyone to get a real spring coil mattress for their playards if they want to continue using it as a portable crib at any friends or family's house or for traveling.
Got this mattress for my daughter's play yard. She loves it, it's very comfortable and supportive. She sleeps happily through the night on this mattress. I debated between this and the 3" mattress but when this one came It sits about 4" tall and I'm very happy I chose this one. Would recommend this to anyone!
I'm so glad I chose the 5 inch mattress over the 3 inch. It made all the difference from having a convenient place for my grandchild to take a nap to a real solution for a room that is too small for a full size crib. I look forward to using this for many years.
My baby is 7 months and a little over 18lbs. Up until now she has been sleeping in the bassinet setting of her Hello Kitty Baby Trend pack n' play. The mat was starting to "buckle" under her weight and it looked very uncomfortable. We had no problems with her sleeping at night even with this problem, but I could bearly sleep at night knowing. I looked for several play yard mattresses and ended up purchasing this one and the Dream on me 3" foam mattress to see which would work best. We ended up keeping this one. It's firmer, but much more comfortable (mommy tested and approved, yes I laid on it to see!). It fits perfectly with no gapping. I ordered the American Baby Company jersey sheets and they fit perfectly. It does warn not to add a mattress on the play yard label, but if it fits properly there should not be a problem. We moved the mat to the bottom and placed the mattress on top of it (not it the bassinet setting). She's happy, we're happy!
This mattress is a perfect fit. It appears to sleep just like a regular crib mattress. The only problem I have is finding sheets to fit. The Graco pack n play sheets are too small and the crib sheets are too big. It is so good that making adjustments on the sheets is fine. If anyone else can tell me where to get sheets that fit, it would be great !!
This mattress is the BEST in my opinion. I had the graco play yard with bassinet and my baby has been sleeping in the top bassinet of it. But the mat seemed to be made of cardboard and hard. I was looking into buying a mini crib with mattress and then decided to see if there was a mattress for the play yard because it is the right size for our bedroom. First i ordered the 3 inch Dream on me matress, but cancelled it because I wanted him to have the best since he endured that mat for so long. And this has been great!! He has been sleeping long at night now and looks so comfortable like a little baby. This is how babies should sleep. It goes on the bottom of the play yard, but is thick so he doesn't look too low in it. He loves it. I would recommend trying it.
The mattress fits great for the Graco Pack and Play. (I love that) Although, I believe that it should be a little bit more firm. As with a 22 pound baby, the mattress seems to flex too much and cause the baby's head to not be level with the rest of the mattress around the edges, which of course is worrisome for the constant moving baby.
Fits perfect in my graco pack n play. Baby sleeps so much better in it.
