i have a lot of crib experience since i helped raise my kid brothers but i never had the actual crib to deal with. This is my first child so picking out a crib was a big deal for me. My mom bought the crib and since she didnt have a lot of money i had to go with a cheap one. The thing i love is how it has a dresser and a changing table attached to the crib so that way i dont have to go far at all to change my daughter and everything is there. The sliding rail is even quite which suprised me. I dont like the fact that you have to press your body weight against the rail to slide it down though and the directions were the worst directions i had ever read. it took me forever to put them together and i even ending up putting the dresser together backwards. Overall though it is a nice crib for a first time buyer and it will be great that my daughter can grow with it as she gets older.
I bought this crib as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law. They are expecting a little girl. The directions were easy to follow: tools were provided, and I was able to put it together myself. The finished product is amazing. The crib is extremely sturdy, functional, and elegant. It looks fantastic in their nursery!
With a shipped price of around 530, this product is unbeatable. It is a crib along with a more than handy changer, dresser, and storage rack. The version I bought was in Honey Oak. It was all solid wood and very sturdy. Once assembled it looks great and yes EXPENSIVE. Assembly was easy, though some of the instructions could have been better. I have played this game with our guests by asking them to guess the price - all of them were blown away when the actual price was revealed. I would probably reevaluate my opinion once we get into the transitional features of the crib once our 10 day old grows into a toddler. All in all - it is a "Go for it" piece, if you find it within the price I paid for it.
We purchased this combo for our daughter and son-in-law's first baby, due in June. We had it shipped to them. What a great convience. The combo is beautiful. Well built and sturdy, easy to assemble. We chose this combo because it can be used throughout the child's life. It is well worth the money. Makes the nursery look very elegant.
Easy to put together, very nice and great for the price
Before purchasing this crib, I read all the reviews and everyone was very helpful. My mother-in-law bought this crib for her son and I, and I am very satisfied, it is gorgeous! the picture doesn't do it justice! It's the perfect piece for the nursery. It's a very large crib, so if you do not have a lot of room, I would go with something a bit smaller.
I was really worried buying the key element to the nursery online and never seeing it in person first. This crib is beautiful. It is not made as cheaply and many other products. It was very easy to assemble and is sturdy. It is much nicer than the picture represents.
We just put the crib up this week! Got it already for our baby to sleep in when she comes home. I love the fact that it will change as she grows older.
The picture does not do this crib justice, if you can, try to see it in the store. It is an amazing crib. It has a very elegant rich look with its sliegh style. People spend over $2000 to get that look. My only tiny complaint is putting it together... brace yourself for a million parts! Luckily I had my dad and uncle help and it still took the guys a few hours to piece the "masterpiece" :)
This is a very nice crib and changer combo. The only down fall is that the pad that comes with it for the changer is very thin. When I tried to inquire about getting a different pad from anywhere it was impossible to find one that would fit. I also called the company and they said that the pad it came with was the pad that was tested with the crib and it passed the safety ratings so it is not highly recommended to use a different changing pad. Also the other down fall is that the changer can not be removed from the crib until you convert it into a full size bed. I also had inquired about ordering extra parts for the side and she said that they did not sell any extra parts so if there is not much room in the place where you want to put the crib then this might not be the crib you maybe looking for.
