My son is now 15 months old and so far i love this crib. The quality is really amazing, which i was concerned about as no offense but Walmart usually doesnt carry hard wood furniture that will last. The style is great as I love modern clean lines. I am about to convert the crib to a daybed so hopefully that will go smoothly but so far I absolutely love this item as well as the mathcing dresser.
We have yet to actually use this crib as our baby is yet to arrive, however, we love it already. The instructions were rather unclear as noted by others, nonetheless, we were able to assemble quite smoothly. I have toggled with the drop side, and it seems to move up and down with ease. The storage drawer is a great addition, although, it will require lighter-weighted items as others have also claimed. Overall, we are very much pleased with this crib. It looks amazing!! I've included a pic from right after assembly was completed.
We love our Baby Mod crib that my family got us! Our little one is about 2 months old, now, and has been sleeping in it from day one. The look is kinda retro- with the two tones, and fits into our older home perfectly. I do agree that the hardware should be hidden, though. We were going to try to find some plugs to cover them up, but figured it really wasn't a huge deal- especially after baby arrived. Also, definitely takes two people and a lot of patience to assemble. Would recommend, though.
This crib is so cute and very sturdy!!!! The color is more of a cream/antique white which was just what I was hoping for! The chocolate brown ties in with the cherry wood glider in the room. I am pretty short but it is easy to reach in, and also to lower the gate. The shelves are nice for LIGHT storage. Looks like an expensive crib. Highly recommend.
Although the package arrived slightly battered, the content was undamaged and once seperated building was fairly easy (took me about an hour and a half). I would definitely recommend this product for a family looking for a more compact crib that still provides good storage (lower drawer). P.S. A second helper should be used during the construction of the support rails
I have not actually used the crib, as baby still is not due to arrive for 6 weeks. I will update this review after we have used the crib. With Site to Store shipping, it took only two weeks to receive. All of the parts were in good condition when received. In terms of assembly, it took us a good 2 hours to put it together. The directions were unclear at several points, but nothing we couldn't eventually figure out for ourselves. In terms of quality, the maker is Million Dollar Baby. We were very surprised to see that most of the parts were real wood, instead of particleboard. The drop side is easy enough to use, with one hand and one knee. It also comes with a plastic guard rail. It looks great. The "white" part is more yellow-ish than it looks in the picture. I really love the look, part country part modern. It is impossible to find this look for even close to this price anywhere else.
I LOVE this crib. My daughter is due in nine days and I can't wait to get her in it! I only have one complaint and that's with the set up instructions. They were the most complicated thing I've ever read. We mostly put the crib up the way we thought it went.
We have owned this particular crib & coordinating changing table for 2 years now and we couldn't be happier! It matches the decor of our entire home which is furnished with Crate & Barrel & West Elm- most people assume we got it from a high end retailer. Now with baby number two on the way we are going to buy another set (Baby Mod Olivia in Amber & White). My husband is pretty picky when it comes to good construction/high quality items. Our set looks just as great and even better than some of our friends who have spent double and even triple the price. When it comes to cribs, I want something for my baby right now- not something that they will still have as teenagers. So if you are looking for a set to grow with or an heirloom, than I suggest looking elsewhere. Otherwise, this is the best value for your money and looks like a million bucks!
i love this product i looked for weeks and had a hard time deciding. I'm glad i picked this one it is just to cute! This is also my third crib as this is my third baby and i like this one the best out of the three i had.
I was looking for something modern and different yet affordable. This is what this crib is. The directions to put it together is not too easy but my husband did not have a hard time. Whatever was mentioned on the review is true such as colors, the antic white is more likely cream and the expresso is more like a walnut (with variations) and the holes for the screws are not covered. But, for what it is, is a great option for someone who has modern style and is looking for ok quality and ok price. Very nice! I can wait to have my baby boy using it...in January!
