I have the Italia 3 in 1 crib and everywhere I checked they wanted $170.00. I found these online and order ASAP. My husband had to make a few minor adjustments (2 new holes) but it works just th same and I am so happy for my 2 girls who can finally enjoy a big bed. Get these rails you will not be sorry!
I read that this would work on the Simplicity Ellis and it does. The cherry is just slightly darker, but not noticeable unless you are looking for it. You have to drill extra holes (a drill press would have made this simple, but we eye-balled it). Extra hardware was essential (4 - 1/4"-20x3-1/2" and 4 - 1/4"-20x4" screws worked for us with the cams from the rails). We drilled our extra holes above the ones there (2-1/2" center to center). Don't forget wood stain to touch up the new holes if you counter sink the screws. Anything else? Yes, sooo much less expensive than the other alternatives. Well worth the hour of construction time. Again, if you know someone with a drill press, borrow it!
I have had a terrible time finding rails to convert our crib to a full size bed. The company who made the crib has gone out of business. The only problem I had was I had to purchase two longer screws than was in the package but that was minor. The rails matched the wood on the head board perfectly. The quality of the item for the price was exceptional. I should have looked at Wal-Mart first because it would have saved me lots of time and frustration! Thanks you having just what I needed to finally complete my project.
we bought the conversion rails so we would have them when needed when it was time for our baby to convert to a full size bed. i have read the reviews and customers seem to be pleased with them, so i am hoping for the same! it's just great to purchase them along with the crib so you don't have to search for them years from now.
We purchased the Cadence Crib in cherry from WalMart and love it! It is a beautiful color and the side rails, which will convert it into a full size bed match perfectly and cost a fraction of what they go for elsewhere. We shipped to store and saved on shipping too. We are happy we chose both the crib and conversion kit so we won't need to buy a bed for our baby again!
I just recieved this set of conversion rails and converted my Da Vinci Style baby crib into a full size bed. The Cherry finish was a perfect match. The bolt holes lined up perfectly. Included are 8 bolts and barrel nuts. I shopped all over the internet and found prices ranging anywhere from $80.00 to $129.00 plus shipping. Wal Marts price of $49.97 with Free (Site to Store Shipping) was a great bargin. Delivery was on time as promised. I would highly recommend this product.
I have the delta convertible crib. Heard this one works and it does! Half the price. The cherry color is a little bit darker, but when the comforter is on you can't even tell. No biggy!. Just waiting for my mattress and box spring to arrive this weekend!
I purchased these rails to convert the DaVinci Emily Mini crib - identical to Baby Mod Lily Mini crib made by the same manufacturer (Million Dollar Baby). Assembly was very easy, they match beautifully and work great. Not to mention the $40+ I saved by buying them through Walmart rather than ordering the DaVinci rails from the higher end baby store. I also saved even more by utilizing the great Site-to-Store service and avoided even more expense that I would have had to spend to cover shipping. Thank you Walmart!!!
Bed rails fit for Simplicity Ellis convertable crib with some modifications. Color is similar, they are covered with a dust ruffle anyway.
I was able to adapt these bed rails to match a convertible crib that we'd purchased at JcPenny's. The rails are slightly lighter but with the bed skirt on you can't tell. We had to drill an add'l hole in each rail and get longer bolts but WELL worth the money saved. I would have had to spend $125 at JcPennys' for the correct rails but ended up only spending $56 with these including the add'l bolts we purchased at the hardware store.
