Used this kit with our toddlers Simplicity bed that is no longer available. We had to drill holes completely through the bed frame, use longer screws, and a few slats underneath, but it worked well and our daughter's bed is finally put together!
As our baby is not born yet, we haven't actually been able to use these rails. But since our crib is convertible, we decided to buy the rails now, rather than wait a few years and possibly have them discontinued. They look great, and we saved the directions in order to convert the crib to a "big girl" bed in a few years. It looks like it will be pretty easy to do, and will save us money in the future.

Got this product because I bought the crib and didn't want to take a chance of it not being available when the time came to convert. I love the crib and changing table.
No real directions... hard to figure out how to take apart the toddler bed/crib and use these pieces to make a full size bed. We eventually figured it out. Oh, and there are no slats or middle support so you need to buy both a boxspring and mattress to make it all work.
Really great product - only negative - was the instructions were a null. I had to just look at the picture on walmart.com and piece the puzzle together. Luckily I'm smart and I've always been a visual learner so it helped. If you are not a "handy" person by nature don't attempt the product until you find detailed instructions that has more than one step indicated on it.
Ok here is the deal, as with other posted reviews, you definitely have to modify to work with simplicity Ellis crib. You have to add slats as well, strange that they are not included. The color was really close, not even an issue with bed skirt. Hey at least my daughter can enjoy her "big girl bed" I suggest you try finding delta canton bed rails for they are exact match....found this out later.ughh. But they don't make honey oak color anyways.
