I researched many cribs and decided on this crib as it folds and can be stored easily. I ordered the Dream on Me mattress also. I was very surprised at the size of the crib, it is very roomy it was one of the least expensive also. The side rail lowers - it might be a little flimsy, but so far it is functioning without problems. The white paint is even and the crib does not look cheap. The caster wheels make it easy to move. So far I am happy with my choice.
My daughter moved back home when she was 8 months pregnant while her husband is overseas for 9 months. We put her in her old room. My granddaughter was born early Sept and will need a crib soon. We decided on this full size fold away crib which we will keep and take out as needed once our daughter moves again. It has been perfect. Easy assembly and really nice looking. I liked that it took a regular size crib mattress. I would definitely recommend it.
This crib was impossible to build based on the instructions provided. My daughter builds furniture in her business, and we still could not do it, till we called the phone number on the booklet, and a warehouse mgr. stayed with us step by step till we built it. Lucky for us it was during business hours. We needed the crib that night. Once built, it was very good, and it folded nicely to put away.
Overall: Liked the folding idea. Crib looks to be ok. Not the best material, but good enough. Never did get it fully assembled, so can't comment on stability. The Good: Loved the Site-to-Store free shipping. Pick-up was easy. The Bad: As other posters have noted, the directions are lacking, but can be figured out using logic. When fixed side was attached to the headboard and footboard, a large crack running from the pre-drilled screw hole on the footboard was found. Because of this the crib couldn't be fully assembled. The Ugly: Called manufacturer to get replacement piece, but was sent wrong one. Called again, got no response. Gave up and returned it.
