This crib is everything I needed. Since my boyfriend and I have a 1 bedroom apartment and the baby will be sharing the room with us for now. It was easy to put together the only thing it can be confusing because the parts aren't labeled but besides that it took about 2 hours. It looks good and is sturdy and the drawers fit all of his clothes and the space in the back fits all of his diapers and wipes. So now I'm just waiting for my son to be born so he can use it! I'm sure he will love it too!!!
My husband and I set this up and it's beautiful! Everything needed to set it up is included, and the instructions are detailed and complete. It's just what we wanted for the price. Very space effective with the drawers/shelves/trundle drawer. GREAT PRODUCT!
This item was easy to assemble even though the instructions could have been better. The trundle is small and the drawers don't close well but overall the item is worth the money. You should make sure you measure the crib mattress before you buy. My wife had to take ours back to find one a bit bigger so that it would fill in the gaps. Looks great in the room can't wait to see my son sleeping in it.
I had originally planned to purchase this product at another local department store. I had seen the model set up and like I had done to all the other models I shook it to see how sturdy it was. To my dissapointment the store did not have one in stock and could not order it for me. So I decided to get it off wal-mart's website and shipped site to store. The crib arrived very quickly and my husband and I imidiately put it together. Assembly took us about an hour or so, working as a team. As others have said the parts are not coded but, if you use common sense it is not hard. Crib and changer both look great. And if assembled properly are very sturdy. Crib and changer fit perfectly in the space I needed it to. Drawers and shelves on changer are very spacey and give plenty of room on side for a diaper bag to hang. I have not got to use the crib yet for I am not due till june. but have already put bedding on crib just in case.
Although the directions are a little less than helpful and there are many parts, the crib was surprisingly easy to put together. It took my husband about 2 hours and it was pretty self-explanatory. The crib is absolutely beautiful assembled and far exceeded both mine and my husband's expectations. Unlike some of the reviews that say that the product does not have a drop rail; that is incorrect. It does indeed have a drop rail, you simply lift the rail up a little and push with the front of your leg. I was worried about this since I am very short and am also having a C-Section, but I was thrilled when I found out that the reviews were incorrect. Also, I found the size of the trundle drawer to be more than adequate. This crib is very sturdy and well-made which surprised me due to the fact that it was such an economical purchase. I am very impressed.
This crib is very nice. My husband put it together fairly easily. He was pleased that it came with the tools needed, and all the screws/parts separated into their own compartments for easy identification. It seems pretty sturdy, looks beautiful, and the rail adjustment is easy to use. I am very short so the fact that the rail goes down will make it a lot easier. The drawer under the the crib looks a little out of place, it doesn't attach to anything and is kinda small. But the changing table drawers seem to have nice storage. All in all I am very happy with this crib for the price I paid.
Once the crib was completed it was great. The instructions are a bit complicated. It might have been nice if the pieces had labels. The bottom drawer doesn't attach to the crib, which is kind of disappointing. Overall it looks great and seems sturdy. Can't wait for my little guy to get here and try it out !
This is a great value. The crib and changing table is very sturdy. The drawers and shelving provide ample storage.
It is a very nice combination of dresser and crib which you will find comparatively very expensive at other stores. Easy to assemble although consumes time because parts are not named or coded and first of all you have to identify and code all the parts properly. Dresser drawers side panels are very rough and it could have make more smooth for a safe product to assemble. Trundle drawer is the most disappointing part in the whole product. We though it would be better to to buy the same product without that extra drawer and much lesser amount of money (~$40 less). size of drawer is unexpectadly small and not worthwhile. Online buying experience with Walmart including featuring site to store service is excellent. Hope you would enjoy the product if you buy.
We ordered this crib set for our youngest son who is due in the next three weeks. We liked the fact it had three drawers and the shelves on the side. The other cribs like this on display only have one drawer and a door with a shelf behind it. I also like the fact that it comes with ALL the hardware, including everything needed to convert to a toddler bed with side rails and a full bed with a disattached nightstand. The box was too big for my little Focus but isn't so big that you can't take it home in a little SUV, I borrowed my dad's Durango. It only took me an hour and a half to build mostly by myself. I needed my husband to help with some drilling on one of the little drawers where the predrilled holes didn't line up well, and on the trundle drawer with the same issue. But the bed is very sturdy and not wobbly at all. We chose not to put the wheels on the bed itself, but they are the locking kind if you choose to do so. I like the fact that you can lower the side rail one handed and it is very easy (I know I've been practicing). The trundle drawer seemed a little small when we finished building but it already is holding extra sheets (4-5 sets) and about 8 good size baby blankets. The side rail does need to be up in order to nicely get the trundle drawer out though. The drawers are nice and deep and are holding everything nicely. I'm sure if you over stuff them you could have problems, but we have 15-20 PJs (various 1st year sizes), about 30 onesies (various 1st year sizes), and socks, hats and bibs all stored very nicely in the drawers.
