We purchased this product for our 17 month old daughter. She is happy with it and so are we. It was easy to assemble and it feels sturdy. The drawer underneath is nice for storage and the side rails give a little extra security. It is low enough to the ground that it is easy for her to climb in and out of and even if she fell out of bed I wouldn't worry too much about her getting hurt. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase.
Shopped quite a bit in both bricks & clicks mode before selecting this bed for my almost 2yr old daughter. Once I had a couple of choices narrowed down I let her help make the final selection (along with her Mom of course :-). Everyone is happy with this choice so far. Others have complained about the assembly instructions on this bed - I can understand why. They consist of only simplified graphics without supporting text. I've had plenty of experience working with documents like this, so a very careful review of them yielded a successful build on the first try. I can make only one complaint as of now (have only been using the bed a few weeks) and that would be the storage drawer. It is a little flimsy, but most of all it only can be oriented in one direction (which on the unit I received is actually opposite of what was shown in the graphic on the web site). This resulted in a rework of the layout of my daughter's room so the drawer could be opened without bumping into anything else. I suppose I could have disassembled the whole attaching rail setup and swithed it, but decided it was easier to just move stuff around in the room instead. We are letting our daughter work her way into getting accustomed to her "big girl bed" slowly, but so far she has taken to it with no complaints!
