My newborn grandson was in the pedi ICU for 3 days and the nurses set up this mobile for him. I took down the name and purchased two of them for christmas presents, one for the grandson and one for the new great grandaughter. Keeps babies entertained! Very colorful and plays different types of music. Parents say they love the remote!!
I got this mobile for my daughter when she was 1 month old. When she was able to grab the mobile toys, I left just the base so she would still have the music to listen to and she would play with the individual toys. She is now 22 months old and doesn't care about the toys anymore but will not go to sleep at night unless the music is on. She now chooses what color button to press. Love this product.
this is a great mobile because the volume stays the same unless you adjust it at the base. some mobiles volume is too loud or too soft when you use the remote. I like this one because all you have to do is set the volume to what your baby likes and then just use the remote to turn it on/off. my baby likes the primary colors. the mobile I had with my 1st baby was pastel and she never liked it. I also love the music. they are very soothing. especially the brahms because it has a soothing heartbeat in the background that is just the right volume. if you have a moon/stars theme then buy this mobile. you will not be disappointed. it is worth the money. it does not have any clanking parts, as with the tiny love mobiles. it is very quiet. you can also detach the moving part and just use the music box when baby is too young or if baby is older and can grab the moving parts. this is a wonderful product and can be used for months or years if your baby loves the music.
I love this mobile!!! My daughter just has a ball watching all of the different things hanging move around. I would definitly recommend it to someone who has a child that is facinated by moving objects.
it is a very good product my son loves it. he falls asleep to the wave sound. the only problem is the crib is to thick so i couldnt put up the handle for the toys
This is a good mobile. We had to take one of the plastic toys off of it though because it made it too heavy and it wouldnt spin. I love that you can detach the music box from the mobile and take it with you in the car or put it by the babies bassinet if he/she isnt in his/her crib yet. I like to hold it up to my stomach to let the baby listen to it so he knows the music when he comes out :) I'm sure he will love this!
I bought this for my grand daughter, It is precious, but the motor which would start off slowley, then stall out. It would creap around a few times, then stop. You could hear the motor trying to turn. It does have other features such as removable toys from the mobile and it could serve as a music box as she gets older.
I bought this product and had the same trouble as everyone else with the motor stopping after only a few spins. But after re-reading some reviews I decided to rearrange the pieces on the mobile and that did the trick. I think it needs to be balanced for the motor to work right. So overall it is a good product. My 12 week old never minded it stopping, but I did! Keep moving the pieces around and you will get it right.
I returned this product and recieve another one thinking it would work. Well the mobile kept sticking like the toys were to heavy for them to turn around. It worked for about a week. So I took the mobile part of and use it for the music.
The music is nice, but the mobile doesn't turn. At first we tried running it with no toys on and that worked for the first 2 minutes, but then--nothing. We took it apart and reassembled it but it does not turn. Sometimes the gear engages for a second, but that's it. So, unless you're buying it just for the music box, buy something else!
