I love bright starts products. When I saw this toy, I liked it because it was bigger than a lot of other crib mirrors. It is colorful and although my daughter does not like to look at her self much, she laughs everytime I press the pick-a-boo button. I like that it hangs all the way down since my 4 1/2 mo old does not sit yet. It has not gone in the washer yet, but I read on here that it is durable.
We had looked at several baby mirrors before we decided to go with this one. We just wanted a simple mirror for our son to see himself without all the bells and whistles some of the others had. He loves this! He "talks" and smiles to the other baby everytime we put it in front of him.
I love how there aren't any things dangling on it and it attaches to any size crib. We have the wide pieces of wood on the crib and it wrapped around it fine. Our son is almost 5 months old, and I see him self look at it a lot and hear him laugh. Since it is a big mirror and they can really see themselves, unlike the small mirrors that have stuff hanging from them, I would really recommend it for sure. I have had a hard time finding mirrors in the stores and when I seen this one online and for cheap, I had to get it!!!
I just bought 2 for newborn nieces. I think its a simple toy, but every crib, playpen, stroller, and back of front car seat should have one. Encourages infants to notice their own face and movement. It is easy to remove and detach. I recommend mirrors anyway but this one is particulately nice.
My 3 month old grandson loves this mirror he likes looking at himself in it!! He entertains himself talking to the other baby in the mirror. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something easy to use in a crib, or pack n play. We have even attached it to his stroller.
I purchased this mirror for my 4 month old daughter who smiles and gets all shy when she looks in a mirror. I thought she'd get a kick out of staring at herself while in her crib, but she doesn't seem interested in looking at herself. Instead she stares at the colorful material surrounding the mirror. When I push the peek-a-boo button she looks to me for reassurance, which I give her. I think in time she'll enjoy this product, but now she's just getting used to it.
My 5 week old loves this mirroe. It is a good size mirror so he can see himself clearly. It is meant to attach to his crib but my baby is still in a bassinet. The mirror is thin enough that I just have it wedged between the bassinet matress and the edge of the bassinet. My baby loves it. He lays in his bassinet awake and talks to himself. Great investment!
I got this for my grandaughter, she is only 7 months, but seams to like it, she tries to grab it and looks at her self. Kepps her busy. worth the money.
This is a great mirror. My little guy didn't like his tummy time very well and this seems to help. He just loves to look into the mirror. I love the fact that you can hang it or lay it on the floor. Great buy for little ones! I would have to say great buy for the price!
It's a flexible, reflective surface; not a real mirror. Reflection is not true -- more like a Fun House mirror. I do not expect it to last long once the baby actually gets a hold of it. Additionally, the music button moves and is not easily activated by a baby which is still developing eye-hand and gross motor skills.
