I read prior reviews on this dresser, changing table. It looks as beautiful assembled as stated by other purchasers. We also purchased the Delta Convertible crib and the set (in cherry wood) did not disappoint any of us. My husband and I made this purchase for my daughter's first child, due in February2015.
I purchased this for my new Grand daughter. This dressing table was sturdier than I expected, easy to put together and well worth the price. It comes with safety straps to secure the baby, and also serves as a dresser for baby clothes.
the changing table exceeded my expectations. The wood finish and quality is excellent. it was easy to assemble and is a beautiful piece of furniture that will grow with my baby.
I am a super picky person and was hesitate to buy this changing table. The one I wanted was $800 (young america cottage cover changer) and didn't want to spend that. I knew that this changer wouldn't have the quality I really wanted, but for the price i can't complain. i would never buy an actual dresser of this quality b/c the drawers just aren't sturdy enough, but for a changing table its fine. Again, its exactly what i thought it would be. i kind of think of it as the elite of the cheap. For the cheap price it looks nice, was decent to put together, and i think it will last through the diaper changing times. the top part where the baby lies seems very sturdy, just be gentle w the drawers, i don't think they could take a ton of abuse is all. the color is just like the pic too. I would recommend this changer for the price. Hope this helps.
Product was priced right and seems sturdy. Be prepared do dedicate some time for assembly.
Changer is exactly what I expect it to be. Just be carefull with the drawers, they seem a little fragile. It is a good piece of furniture for your buck.
Look. I get that they have to put those warning labels on everything. Do the stickers really need to be right in the middle of the top piece? The change pad doesn't cover it at all. To top it off, even if you scrap it off, you can tell something was stuck there. Can't they place the warning in another, not so in your face, location? Or at least stick it on with something that is a bit easier to get off without leaving ugly marks?
Assembly much easier with two people. Some wooden parts were slightly warped, making assembly that much more difficult. Easy to over-tighten some connections causing splitting of the wooden parts (which seem to be make of weak, easily splittable wood.
Although the product looks nice (be aware that the cherry color is a dark cherry), the drawer materials are pretty cheap and split easily. The wood for the drawers is slightly warped, making it hard to put them together. Do not expect this item to last for a long time. I expected more quality for $250.
My husband and I were very disappointed with this product! It said it was all hardwood but it's not! The top of the dresser(where you would lay the baby) is not even hardwood and very flimsy. The drawers were super cheap and did not even close evenly. After we put it all together the whole thing was shaky and not sturdy at all. This item is by no means worth it's price! I will never buy furniture from Wal-Mart again!
