My Husband had no problem putting this changing table together.. Its very nice, very solid I think! The color is a little lighter then I thought it was going to be, (lighter then the crib that comes with it) But Overall I'm in love with it!
I was 37 weeks and able to put this table together with minimal help. There was a slight wood problem with a screw but was easily solved once I put the other side together. It's the perfect height to change baby as I had c-section and didn't cause more pain. It is worth the price I paid for it and arrived just in time for my baby's unexpected arrival.
Purchased for my daughter who is having twins. This is perfect and goes well with the cribs. It is worth the price.
Bought this with the Athena crib and mattress bundle. Changing table is sturdy, level, and was easy to put together. Has strap to help keep baby down. There is a drawer as well which is useful for diapers or whatever. May want to buy with some bins for the shelves below for toys, bathing stuff, etc. Overall great value.
I bought this for grandchild yet to be born, so it has not been used yet. After assembling the table I am impressed with how sturdy it is. The drawer is made from cheaper material but functions well. The shelves are made of 1/4" plywood and won't hold alot of weight. Overall though for the price I think it was a good buy.
This table rocks. We had to put some paper under the left side to stop from rocking. It's very sturdy and looks nice. It's also nice for the price. Took a long time to assemble.
While my husband was taking inventory of all the pieces of the white changing table, we found that two pieces had dime-size dents in visible areas. There was also a missing dowel. This is our second baby. Our first is 23-mos. We found that the nursery furniture we purchased for our son was much better quality; stable and sturdy. This changing table is not at the same quality level, however, the design of the table is also less dense with only one shallow drawer and two open shelves. At the end of the day, it will serve its purpose.
After putting together about a dozen pieces of furniture in the past five years, this was the most frustrating. Instructions not helpful. A bit confusing hard to line up the drawers and planks to screw them all in. Took about 2 hours.
Delivery to store was fantastic, and the pick-up was easy. I got about half way through assembly when I realized the parts didn't all fit together (the slots on the F rails would not line up with the slots on the A/B side parts). I called AFG, and they made me send them pictures of the parts that were misaligned, which is understandable. They sent me replacement parts, and wouldn't you know, those didn't line up either. I ended up whittling and sanding the parts so they eventually fit together. The AFG guy was pretty helpful, but I would think they would have at least made sure the parts fit together correctly before they sent them to me as replacements. Looks good now that I finally have it fitting together though.
I purchased this table along with the crib and mattress, love the crib and mattress however I have already taken this table back to Walmart due to the following 5 issues. I cannot blame the AFG for the first 2 reasons as I was not misled in the description. I just made a few assumptions by looking at the pictures. 1.) The ‘shelves’ are very thin (wobbly particle board). The table comes with a support that you put under the middle of the 2 shelves but they are still pretty flimsy in my opinion. 2.) The ‘support’ that would have been supporting my baby is a bit thicker than the shelves, however it is not as sturdy as I would have thought. It has a 30 pound weight limit and I am sure this has been tested, I was just expecting an actual board. AFG is to blame for the following 3.) There were a few good sized knicks in the wood. I could have lived with this if there were no other issues. 4.) The only part that was assembled was the tracks the drawer slides on. Once full assembled, the drawer hit one of the screws (see video below). I could have lived with this as well and was planning on trying another screw until I got to #5 5.) When we pulled off the warning sticker, it removed the paint/stain. See the pictures. We really like the crib and now we are going to try and find a changing table that matches it.
