This is an awesome dresser. I looked at four separate navy blue dressers at high end baby furniture stores- ranging from $600 to $850 and this dresser surpasses them all. It is very sturdy, has great big drawers, the drawers themselves glide very smoothly, and the navy color is absolutely beautiful- better than what I saw in the stores (Pottery Barn for Kids, and Stanely furnitures kids line). It is a fantastic buy! Now, if they only had nightstands to match!!! Very easy to put together as well.
We bought this dresser to go with the matching crib and we have been very impressed. It is a very nice dresser. Many more expensive dressers just have a wood tongue and groove system for the drawers, but this one has a very nice metal glide system. Another great feature is that the drawers are actually as deep as the dresser. I would have thought this would be standard, but many dressers we looked at had drawers that were only about half as deep as the dresser -- a complete waste of space. The dresser was easy to put together and perfectly matches the crib. I would highly recommend it.
Before we knew we were having twins we had set a budget for the furniture in the nursery. After finding out about twins, the budget didn't increase and I had to start shopping for a great deal. I didn't want anything that looked cheap and I wanted solid wood. Actually, I would never have looked at Walmart.com except for getting frustrated with the search for quality at a low price and I asked my mom to take over. So thanks to her we have this beautiful baby furniture. We are extremely pleased with the quality and look of the furniture. The only improvement that would take this product over the top is if the screw holes had matching wood covers to place in the holes after assembly. This would give it a complete finished look and make it a true comparison to the higher end furniture found in baby boutique stores. My husband said assembly was very easy. We purchased the cribs, dressers, and changing table. One crib did have a scratch and the dresser had a few small dents from shipping but nothing real noticeable and nothing major enough to make us want to go to the trouble of exchanging the items. We are very satisfied with this product.
