I received this chair as a Christmas gift from my husband. I wanted it as a reading chair for our bedroom. The frame comes 85% assembled coming out of the box. My husband put it together in 10 minutes. I love the chair myself. It suits my need for what I wanted it for. The construction and quality seem to be high. The fabric feels like a suede material and there are pockets on both sides of the chair. The only thing that needs improvement is the cushion you sit on could be softer. It is quite firm. Other than that A+.
Bought this rocke and ottoman for our nursery. It is great quality and the perfect color with the other furniture. Great buy!!!!
We chose this rocker expecting it to last a year or so but it is still "rocking", 2 years later! I assembled it myself at 8 months pregnant and it was a breeze. When we bought this, they did not have the seat color or wood finish options, so I am going to take advantage of the blue oak and order for our new son arriving in January!
I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and bought the glider and ottoman set for my little one's nursery. It matches the other storkcraft furniture I have perfectly and is comfortable to sit in. The fabric of the cushions is so soft. It only took my husband and I about 10 minutes to put it together and get it set up in the room. Super easy. For the price we paid and the fact that we got it with free site-to-store shipping I couldn't have asked for a better product. I obviously don't know how long it will hold up since we just got it a couple weeks ago but I'm hoping it holds up for a long time. I absolutely love it and would recommend it!!
I was hesitant to order this chair based on some of the reviews that is was not good for tall people. I am 5'9 and the chair is fine for me. It is actually quite comfortable because my head rest at the top of the chair letting it go back a little. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this chair for the price. Of course it's not as comfortable as the $600 chairs you may have sat in but it is just fine for what I am using it for! It glides very smooth and I can't wait to rock my baby in it. Only 2 more weeks!! I ordered the natural wood with the light green fabric and it looks really good in the nursery! It is a very light fresh green color. Really pretty! If you are looking for a nice chair but don't want to spend a ton of money this is the chair for you!!
This pair was easy to put together which was great. We like the color of the natural wood and the yellow gingham pattern looks great with it. Only thing we wish were different is the padding. We wish it were a little more substantial. After a while it feels like you are sitting directly on the wood. However, for the price, it is a good deal.
We bought this for our nursery, haven't used it yet, but it looks good and it's pretty comfortable. the endurance will be known in a while after using it;
The back cushion slides down every time I sit so I constantly have to pull it up to get it back to where it feels comfortable for my back. Other than that, the glider and ottoman does its job just fine.
We chose the green and liked the bright lime color it showed. But when it arrived it was a dull faded light green. ALSO there were snags on the cushion, the holes do not match and you have to force the back to fit the sides so you can put screw in. Now my concern is this force will eventually cause something to snap some day. Not to mention damaged buttons won't snap. But at least the parts are free.
We purchased this furniture in a set to include a crib and changing table. of all the pieces, these pieces were the most sturdy and easiest to assemble, however, it does not stand the time test. We use these things nearly every night for seven months and it now creaks and the fasteners are loose. Don't dare move the ottoman side to side, even accidentally. The support is all cheap pine and held together with glue only. These three dowels look like they are waiting for an excuse to break and laugh at you for purchasing it in the first place. I found a much sturdier one at a yard sale and passed it up for the Storkcraft set. This was one of the biggest mistakes I have made since we knew we were expecting. Don't buy if you want a reliable glider set. IF you buy it, I hope you lose the weight after giving birth.
