I bought this chair for my baby's room and was very pleased with how easy it was to put together. It comes in many colors and for the price is a nice asset for a nursery. The only tiny issue is the botton pad is thin and a little uncomfortable at first.
This is such a comfortable glider at a great price! It was easy to assemble and is nicer than a lot of the more expensive models I saw in other stores. The cushions are nice and thick and it glides smoothly with no noise. I've fallen asleep in this a few times and can't wait to rock my baby in it! I got it in light green and the color in person is much lighter than the picture, but I was happy with that because the pic seemed a bit bright! I love that I could choose the wood color and cushion color - it goes perfectly in my nursery!
This product was easy to put together and is very comfortable to sit in. I purchased mine in the color Butter and the color is a yellowish beige color that goes great with my ivy green walls. I see this product coming in handy for all those long sleepless nights when my baby is born.
It was very easy to assemble. It is sturdy and comfortable. My only disappointment was in a couple of places the wood was split and not sanded smooth. Yes, these spots were covered by the cushions or it would be headed back to the store. The convenience of being able to order the wood and cushion colors wanted made this a good choice.
I'm not due until 5/08, but we received the glider as a gift for our nursery. We did site to store shipping and within a week we picked it up w/o problem from our local Wal-Mart. It was simple to put together(it took less than 20 minutes) and fits perfect in our small nursery. The padding is a neutral beige, what we expected, and is very comfortable. I would recommend it for those on a budget still looking for something comfortable and attractive to have in their nursery or another part of the house down the road.
Overall= Item is worth the money, Color is lighter than shown in picture & back cushin keeps slidding down when sat in & wads up in lower back section but, miner tweeks & adjustment will correct any imperfections that has arrived. ( Went together in 45min. Sturdy Construction. Daughter & NEW Grandson luvs the gliding motion ) Went well with grib-changing table-dresser-to complete set all from Walmart.
I ordered this glider and ottoman based on the reviews and the photos online. I was very pleased with the ease in putting it together and the quality of the materials. My only disappointment was that I am 5'10" and there is not anywhere to rest my head. I still think this was a good value for the price.
Easy to put together and looks very nice. The pad is sorta poofy but I think once I sit in it more it will adjust. Overall I really like the glider and think it will be a great addition to my nursery.
This chair is easy to assemble - took my husband & I about 20 minutes. We had no problems, instructions pretty easy to follow. Seems comfortable enough, but haven't yet used it so hard to tell for sure. Doesn't seem sturdy enough for a bigger person - I am 5'4" small frame, fits me nicely, but I fear if my husband sat on it he would break it (he's 6'4" medium frame). The back height only comes to my neck - so there is no place to lean back and rest your head. The one complaint I have is that the cushions stink - they smell like they've been freshly spray painted - so air them out/wash them in advance of using! The oak color looks great though with my BabyMod Honey Oak crib & dresser, so I am pleased.
I guess I was expecting too much from this product. The price is good- which is why we got it- and I think it's durable. BUT the cushion is not very thick at all and the seat isn't very deep, which is really uncomfortable to me. Also, I ordered the light green cushions and it is SO light green that it's really almost a greyish white. DEFINITELY NOT the green in the picture AT ALL.
