I just purchased this glider for my nursury and I love it. The only thing that I really dont like is the fabric used. It reminds my of life jacket material. And it isn't very easy to keep clean. But for the price of the chair I cant complain too much. I recommend this highly, but think about recovering it.
Easy assembly! All you have to do is put the back and arms on with an allen wrench. The price is unbeatable and it is comfy and so nice to prop your feet up.
We looked for a long time to find a good glider rocker that wouldn't break the bank. We chose this one based on customer reviews. What the other reviews say is right - it looks great and goes fantastic in our nursery and took all of 15 min. to put together. I think it's a lot more comfortable than some of the other reviews let on. I haven't had my baby yet but it's great to sit in for long telephone conversations! It's a great deal for the money!!
This rocker is great! The pads are very comfy and the chair itself is very sturdy! Comes almost completely assembled. All we had to do was put the back, arms and pads on the chair! It was very easy. I shopped around a lot and this is definitely the best bang for your buck! One small complaint: the color on the seat pad and the color on the back pad don't match exactly. The color is just a little darker on the back pad then on the seat pad.
I was a little sceptical due to the low price of this glider, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The identical glider was on another website for more than twice the price. It was very easy to assemble and looks great. It is very comfortable and looks lovely in the nursery. I was a little disappointed in the way the fabric was laid crooked on the ottoman, and may contact customer service to see if it can be rectified, but I may be able to remove it and lay it straight and re-staple. Overall, I am glad I made the purchase and loved the site to store benefit.
i bought this rocker for my daughter-in-law who is soon going to be a mommy to my grandson.. she loves it. and likes that it is yellow in case they have a girl sometime down the road. I personally was so pleased with the service at the local walmart. I was told they would put it together for me but it would be a few days. i told them that was fine and that i would take a picture of the rocker to the shower the next day. before i got home from the store they had called with the message it was ready for me to pick up. i was able to take it to the shower the next day. kudos Huntington walmart.
I'm very happy with the product. I put it together in a few minutes. Its attractive and sturdy. My only (minor) complaint is that it makes a small squeaking sound when I rock back and forth. I still think it was a great buy. I have seen similar products for double the price!
This glider is a great value for the money paid. I love that the back of the glider has a slight slope, so you are not sitting straight up. It also has a wider seat than all the other gliders that I have seen. This is useful if you don't happen to be "petite", I don't feel like the arms are being imprinted into my legs. the ottoman is very comfortable & moves easily. It helps me get my little one to sleep every night & at nap time
For what you pay, this glider is awesome. I bought it when shipping was only $.97 so it is definitely worth it. The ottoman comes fully assembled, and the glider only takes about 15 min to put together. It glides very smoothly and my baby adores it. I do wish that there were more colors available. I would have loved to buy a blue one since I have a little boy. The yellow does look a little off in his predominately blue room, but I used blue accent pillows to integrate it. The pockets on the side are also very helpful for storing things like magazines, phones, bottled water, burp cloths, etc. for when you are gliding for extended periods of time. I only gave it 3 stars for the "Meets Expectations" section because the padding is very thin. I just added a pillow to the seat for more comfort. Unlike its more expensive counterparts, I'm pretty sure that this glider will only last for one child. As long as you understand that with the lower price tag, the quality of the glider will be compromised somewhat, I'm sure you'll be fine. Just don't expect something like the deluxe glider and ottoman sets you see at the expensive baby stores. This definitely works in a pinch and I'm glad I bought it.
Love the cushion color. It was very easy to put together. But the paint job stinks. Looks like it was only primed. However, construction is sturdy. Overall, I'm happy with it. Its comfortable too. Although babies arent due for a few months I now sit in it a couple times a week.
