Read plenty of reviews recommending Dutailier and this particular glider suits our needs and budget. Ordering site-to-store was also the way to go. Assembly was quick and easy. We sit in the glider every so often to get a feel for it (since baby is not yet here), but we think it will get much use come July. Was worried that the brown/tan cushions would not be easy on the eyes, but we like it just fine.
My husband and I are first-time parents-to-be. My parents ordered this glider for us as a gift. It was delivered to our home in less than 1 week. It took my husband and I about 5 minutes to put it all together, and it works perfectly! The color is exactly what it looks like on the website. We still have about 6 weeks before our son is due, but my husband and I are already getting use out of the glider. Instead of putting it in the nursery, we have left it in our living room for now because it is so comfortable and we enjoy rocking in it. I think it might be just as effective for putting parents to sleep as it is for babies!
I've yet to use this chair every day, as we still have a few weeks to go before the baby arrives, but our experience so far with it has been great. It took about 10 minutes to put together and the cushions are VERY comfortable. We are extremely pleased with this purchase.
This is a great size glider for us as we don't have allot of room. The colors are very nice and go well. The motion is smooth and even my husband loves it (and fits in it- he is 6'2"). I did notice a strong smell from the finish or fabric in the first week or so, thus I would let it air out before putting it in a nursery.
This chair is comfortable and glides with ease. It's higher back gives extra support for the head and shoulders when needed, especially when rocking a baby. The expresso color will show less wear and goes well with most furniture colors. Highly recommend it. The ordering process was very easy and the ship to site program is great. I would recommend that as well.
My mother-in-law purchased this for us and we love it. My husband is 6'4" and about 165lbs and fit in the chair just fine, though I use it more and am probably more comfortable in it (5'6" and 175lbs). I love to feed our son in it using the Boppy for a little extra support. My two older kids also like to sit in it as well. It was very easy to put together, looks very nice and glides beautifully. I am very please with this chair and feel it will last thru many years. I do wish the arm cushions didn't velcro on as the slip around quite a bit. Other than that it is a great chair!
This is a very nice glider. It doesn't have as much cushion as I thought it might. Seems a BIT pricey for the chair, but overall I'm satisfied. Was SO simple to put together myself. Comes in two full pieces, and I was expecting tons of little parts to assemble.
This chair was very easy to assemble and the fabric is so soft. My husband is 6'4 and I'm a plus size mommy and we both fit comfortably in the chair. I love to sit it in now and can't wait to use it when baby arrives.
This is a very comfortable and decent sized chair. It was really easy to put together too. We also got the matching ottoman. It totalled a little over $400 which I thought was a little pricey for the two items overall. If it were around $300-$325 I would have given 5 stars. Overall a nice comfy piece of furniture that's just a little overpriced.
The product was what I expected, except for the cushions. The one on the back of the rocker would NOT snap until I used pliars to force it to close. The bottom cushion is too large to stay in place, and with no ties to hold it there, gradually migrates to the front of the seat over time, which is annoying. IF you are an infrequent user, this might be acceptable, but for me it is not. I do like the motion of the rocker - it is smooth and silent. I would not buy another unless the cushion complaints were taken care of before buying.
