This glider is very comfortable and great. It was a little pricy for the qaulity of wood, but the cushion portion is great. The color is not the color you see here, it's more of a greyish-tan. It still works for us!
Glider was very easy to put together. BUT the seat cushion arrived with an orange stripe across it... I contacted the manufacturer and am still waiting for a replacement. My 6 ft husband finds it slightly small...but I'm 5'1' and its perfect for me.
We bought this glider when I was about 30 weeks pregnant due to the fact that sitting on any type of sofa became extremely uncomfortable. I'm now 38 weeks and it's one of the very few chairs I can sit comfortably in!! The reasons we bought this particular glider are as follow: 1. We wanted a white finish with a neutral color cushion. The cushions on this chair are a perfect neutral beige color, definitely not as dark as a tan, which was perfect for us. 2. The dimensions were such that the glider could fit in our living room now and be moved into our nursery later. I'm 5'2" small build (when I'm not pregnant) and my husband is 6'2" medium build. While the size of the chair is definitely more than enough for me, it's just perfect for him. He doesn't feel too confined even at his size. 3. We liked the price of this glider/ottoman combo. It's definitely worth the price - a very good value. We really don't have any negatives to report on this chair other than I wish it came in another color combo I had wanted! It would be nice if the ottoman had a lock on it so it doesn't have to rock all the time.
I was under the impression this was a vinyl beige cushion, it's an ugly brown cloth like an old couch!
Do not waste your money. The chair is very small and would not be good for nursing at all. The cushion material is really lousy and the cushion doesn't even fit on the chair right! This chair may be cheaper, but there is a reason. Invest your money in one of the better chairs - we returned this one.
