I received this item yesterday (I had it shipped). There were not any damaged or missing parts. This chair was very easy to put together. I am almost 7 months pregnant and did it by myself in about 20 minutes or so. The chair is very comfy and not cheap looking/feeling like some gliders can be. The lumbar support pillow that comes with glider is perfect and makes the chair that much more comfortable. I have not used the chair much as I just received it yesterday so can't comment much on long term use/durability but initial reactions is the chair is very comfy and looks nice.
I've ordered this product for my baby registry. Wonderful. Very happy with it. It is gliding smoothly, white finish fits perfectly the nursery room, and brightens it. The sage cushions are not too bright and very soothing for the eyes. Very comfortable to sit in and relaxing. Would definitely recommend. The delivery was fast and right to my home.
This glider looks great in the baby's room! My husband said that it was easy to put together and the directions were very straightforward. There were a few paint flaws, but all in all it seems llike a good purchase. It's comfortable to sit in and fits perfectly in a baby girl's room. Can't wait to start using it when she's born!
Beautiful rocker and less then half then what you would spend at babies stores for one. The green looks really nice in my nursery (green and pink for my baby girl) and is very comfortable. Only downfall was that I dripped milk when I was feeding her and I can not get the water mark out of the material, the cushion flips though so one side is what I keep it on for everyday use and I flip it to the nice side when we're having company :) again for the price u can't beat it.
This chair works well and seems very sturdy. We've had it for about a month and I use it several times a day for our newborn. The cushions are pretty comfortable, they are a study foam, not a fluffy pillow material but it works. Great value and quality for the price. No problems with assembly or wood/paint quality.
So far so good. It went together fairly easily for my father and husband. There were a few pieces that were dinged up, but they are all covered by the cushions. There was one foot on the ottoman that we had to fix with wood glue and tape, but I nearly expect that from anything I order these days. Seems comfortable enough, very quiet. I am 5'11'' and am able to lay my head back while rocking. This is my second baby and I broke down and bought a traditional glider this time around since I know just how much I will be using it. Very nice color and more stylish than a lot of other rockers.
Ordered this online so couldn't sit in it before purchasing. If I could have tried it out first, I wouldn't have bought it. It has a great look, but very uncomfortable for me. I'm 5'2'' and 115 lbs and the seat is a little too high for me (my feet have no problem touching the floor, but the cushion just doesn't hit my legs right). Also, the cushion material is pretty, but I think it wouldn't hold up well with use. Unfortunately, I'm going to return it.
Some stitching on the fabric in the arm was already unraveled. The footstool came partially assembled and the legs are uneven. But go anywhere else, you pay much more. Worth the price, I guess.
I read the reviews before buying and saw the concerns others had. Here are my thoughts: It was easy enough to put together. I did it myself and it took maybe 1/2 hr and I'm 30 weeks. I did need help with the snaps on the fabric for the arms. A hammer was used to snap them in place. The quality of the product doesn't seem like it may last. I had sat in it and all but I only see it lasting a few months. I should have paid more for a higher quality piece. Live and learn. I mainly brought it for the color. It was a bit extra but it will match the nursery. The padding is not that soft so you may need to add more padding to be comfortable.
A rung at the bottom of the chair was cracked. The upholstery on the seat and on the foot stool were poor; for no apparent reason, the footstool custion had two seamsl--were they trying to make it look cushy? If the chair seat and the footstool were as cushy as the chair back, it would have been far better.
