Bought this to replace antique rocker from 1st pregancy. It is super comfortable and was very easy to put together! The picture online makes it look kind of grey-ish, but it is a very nice creamy/off-white microfiber. Love rocking my 2 year old in it and looking forward to using it with 2nd baby soon!
The Baby Relax Glider and Ottoman, Expresso arrived sooner than was expected. It arrived in a large box without any damages. It was easy to assemble, is very comfortable, and glides effortlessly.
I bought this for my daughter in law for her nursery, she is expecting her first child in a few weeks and the chair is perfect for her needs. It will be used for many years to come. Awesome deal.
It is not to many parts to put together but the nuts and screws they give you to use on the chair are a pain and not all of the holes on the chair where the screws are suppose to go are completely cleaned out so the nut and bolt don't fit right until you dig it out yourself. It should only take about 30 minutes to assemble but it took me over an hour fighting with the holes and screws! When I was done I sat in it and I loved it! Great cushions and smooth glide!
Like most I did some research on the product and finally decided to purchase since it was very cost effective. The seat is wide enough if you are hippy or larger person. Great chair and ottman.
I purchased this to add an upright chair to my living room, it's not for a nursery! It fit well in my living room and at finished size about 24 x 28 did not overwhelm my smallish room. This glider rocker is very nice looking and was easy to put together. I closely matches my espresso furniture, with a bit more red tones, but looks great. The padding is nice and comfy, although the armrests make the chair a bit snug for me, and while this is fine while the weather is cold, I will probably remove them in the summer to allow more air and more space for myself. It is quite small, which is fine for me height-wise as I am only 5'4" and the top fits my neck for relaxing perfectly, and my legs fit the floor in perfect ergo position. People up to 225# have sat & rocked in it with no issues. Myself, I found the chair glides smoothly although if you rock your body from side to side, it feels pretty rickety. I know a glider is not meant to go sideways, but I just wanted to see how it held up. I purchased this chair planning on it lasting just a couple of years. If you want an heirloom chair spend a few hundred more to get one. So far no noise, squeaks or problems. We have not used the footstool yet, as it will only be brought out as a spare seat when the kids come over.
My wife is currently 8 months pregnant and has been wanting a glider for a while now. I was skeptical of ordering anything online as I had previously worked at a department store and been witness to many horror stories of online orders going bad but happy wife, happy life, right? So I agreed, even though I hadn't seen the display yet. It took about a week to come in and in that time I was becoming more worried as we looked around other stores and were able to view the display gliders and the quality of them as well, regardless of the fact that they were a bit more expensive. The day finally came to pick up the glider at WalMart. To my surprise, the glider was extremely simple to put together and the ottoman was already assembled! The quality of the glider is also great ESPECIALY for the price. It's very comparable to the other gliders my wife and I saw at other stores that were more expensive. Overall, I would highly recommend this glider.
The chair is nice and sturdy for the most part, the only annoying thing about it is how the back curves in. After I gave birth my back was a real mess and it would have been great to have a chair with better padding for lumbar support and not so much padding up top.
This chair is very nice. Padding is extremely comfortable and quality and looks are much better than I expected. My only complaint is that it sits up pretty straight. I wish it reclined back just a little more.
I really wanted a nice glider for our nursery, one with a high back to help support while breastfeeding. This chair looked like exactly what I wanted. So, I ordered it--even after reading the negative reviews. Terrible decision...I should have listened to the reviews. The chair arrived damaged (see attached photo). It was so cheaply made, and the color was not Espresso. We are returning this chair today and we are not going to get another one from Walmart. You really get what you pay for....cheap chair=cheap quality.
