I began using this high chair for my 4 month old. The snap on/off tray is very convenient and easy to clean. It's also great for keeping my baby in the kitchen with me while I prepare meals or clean. She is able to sit and observe, while also playing with her toys. The chair arrived almost completely assembled. One feature I love, is the ability to single handedly remove the tray. Great ease of use! I would highly recommend this chair to other parents.
I have a set of rambunctious 9month old twins (and one on the way!!) and I not only love it for meal times, but it's also excellent for some time to get things done. I strap them in (the straps when adjusted to your baby are very secure) and hand a toy or snack to them and put Nemo on and they are happy for a good while, while I put away dishes etc. It is wonderful. Easy to clean, use throughout the day and I know will be great in the future too! A little pricey, but worth it!
I love this product! My daughter is 8 months now and I wish I had baught this sooner for her. The only thing i wasnt happy about is the tray/ leg divider...when you push the tray in close to baby the leg divider goes into baby's crotch, wish those 2 parts werent connected to each other. Price was a little too high for a high chair, but only the best for my baby girl. Everything else about it is perfect so it makes up for it.
I honestly could leave the review with awesome and that is all. This high chair is amazing! I had debated for a long while weather or not to get a recling booster or a highchair, thinking my daughter would look silly a about a year in a half in a high chair. Well this took all of it away! If you are not an over protective safe person you will see how this high chair could possibly be used three different ways at once! as a recling booster, not recommended by graco bc of no base, a toddler booster with the back support and 3 point harness and then as the chair without the back support, for a child who really could be seated at a normal chair but you need an extra dinner chair. I absoultly love this high chair don't think i can say that enough! Very easy to put together was done in like 10 Minutes with my three year olds "help". Rolls really smoothly from carpet to laminate. the tray pops on and off super easily! Super easy cleaning seat cover as well and the straps come off so you can probably throw them in the washer machine as well. I hope you enjoy the item as much as i do if you purchase it, worth every penny!!
Great product. Love the features and easy clean up. Accomidates my baby really well and it's great know that i can use it for at least the next 2-5 years as it grows with him. Worth the price instead of having to buy many different pieces which will probably add up to way more than $200
Excellent in all regards for our first baby!
I bought this for my 1 year old's birthday. We were in dire need of a new highchair and I wanted one that was pretty and shiny and that I could use for a long time. I think that for the listed price, the thing should be able to lift my baby from the floor and put her in the seat all by itself, but it's truly a good deal. It does have a seperate booster seat from the actual highchair, and the infant pad comes off easily for the larger or older babies. Then you detach the infant booster (it's got latches on the side that are red and very hard to miss) and it becomes a youth chair. It's super easy to clean (the infant pad is a neat kind of fabric you can just wipe it clean and the seat pad is the easiest part of the whole thing to wipe down), the tray area is huge, and my daughter can push the highchair herself because it rolls so easily (and she loves to do it). The buckles are a little weird to me: the harness itself is 5 pieces, but they're seperate. The shoulder strap slides into the waist strap and then you buckle it and you have to do this for both sides. Putting it together was a chore, especially with a baby running around. I would advise two people to do it because it isn't lightweight by any means, but it's not as bad as a crib. More of a stroller difficulty. The highchair is even more gorgeous in person, and although I wouldn't recommend getting it shipped to your house (the metal and some of the plastic was scuffed on mine and the box had a fairly large dent in it), I absolutely recommend buying it. My only negatives are: 1) The infant seat is a little small. I don't know if my daughter has a big bottom, but the seat is snug compared to our old highchair. I suppose it's for safety reasons and she doesn't seem to mind, but I'm not sure that she'll be able to use the infant seat for as long as I thought she would. 2)The tray rolls easily, but it doesn't have much clearance room to pull out/put in my daughter. She is tall and skinny and I'm still trying to get used to it, but there have been incidents where in trying to pull her out, the tray has rolled right off the highchair and onto my feet. I know it's a "feature" that it comes off so easily, but I feel like there should be a safety latch keeping it on.
We avoided buying a high chair because most high chairs are hideous and the Bumbo chair and tray is small, portable, and gives the perfect support for babies who are still mastering sitting. Now she is 11 months and can escape the Bumbo even with the tray on. We ordered this high chair and are VERY PLEASED! Since we waited so long to get a high chair, we wanted one that would convert to a booster. When we saw all the options this chair provided, we were hooked. When it arrived, it was VERY easy to assemble. Changing the height, tilt, etc. is very simple. We are not using the fabric, pattern layer on the chair. You thread the straps through the holes, but there is nothing else holding that layer still. It moved around alot when we were trying to put our daughter in. Also, she does not need all the extra padding and cushions to help support her. Underneath, the chair is just a solid tan (which matches our walls) and is wipe-off (so it is easy to clean). So, I actually prefer it without the fabric layer. I could not be more happy with this chair. :) One more thing, someone commented that when they try to get the tray close to the child, the leg divider squishes the child. This divider does go in at an angle, but when the large tray is attached, the edge of the this tray is the same distance from the child as the leg divider. Perhaps the person was only using the small tray which is attached to the leg divider, or maybe the child was at a reclined position. We are leaving the chair back in the full upright position, as our child is old enough to sit upright on her own.
Yes it's more expensive than others be WELL worth the price. Its so versatile. we've already taken the booster and seat with us to a restaurant and it's so easy to use. The whole chair was easy to put together and a breeze to clean. The hardest part to put together was the foot rest because you really have to push it into place and i was afraid I would break it but it was just so it is secured tightly. My son LOVES it but probably not as much as me.
Just got this highchair today and I already love it! Easy to assemble, very well made and durable. I have been avoiding buying a high chair because I don't like any others currently on the market, but this one is perfect. Seat pad is vinyl and can be wiped down without going in the wash. The tray glides with ease, and the adjustable features are very smooth. We will like this for years to come.
