My son was learning how to drink of out of a straw when we bought this so he tipped it up and it would leak everywhere!! Even when he figured out how to drink out of it right it would be hard for him to get the juice out, he got really frustrated the first time and threw it so I tried to use it and had a hard time as well. It works better if you run hot water over the straw before you use it. But then the juice would sit in the top part of the straw so if he carried it somewhere the juice would spill out of there. Also I didn't even realize it was supposed to change colors until I read the description on here because we bought it in store. We still use it occasionally because I can't get myself to throw away the money and my son loves Mickey so much that when he sees the cup in the cabinet he wants to use it. But I definitely wouldn't recommend it for anyone under 3 years old for sure and I would strongly encourage supervision with it after that unless you want juice all over your carpet.
My grandson is learning to drink from a straw so he still tips the cup up like a sippy and then his juice comes out top of the cup. I made sure the inter part where the straw is, is connected and it is so it must be you can't tip it up. The color changes a darker blue, he did like that.
It says it comes as a 2 pack and there's only 1. And the straw is huge! I ordered it for my 20 month sons and they can't use it at all because of how large the straw is.
I bought this for my one year old son (17 months) He loves Mickey! This cup was horrible, it leaks everywhere no matter what I do, from a little hole in the inside thats supposed to plug but doesn't, and it goes from light blue... to a little bit lighter blue, barely noticable to me, let alone a toddler! This also came as a set of ONE. There were not two that came! Very Disappointed!
