AVEENO products are very good, especially this soap to clean the face. Este jabón es muy bueno.
I have depended on the classic Aveeno bar for DECADES. The new formula has completey wrecked this unique product. The oat derivative is no longer the first ingredient listed on the ingredients. The new ingredients make this moisturizing bar a bad as a cheap bar of generic soap. No longer is it creamy and soothing. I cant even get a spreadable lather out of it, make it useless in the shower. It leaves my skin tight and dry. And why is it full of tiny gravel-like bumps??? It actually physically hurts to even wash my hands with it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go back to the original formula...Im sure the vast majority of your faithful customers would be willing to pay a little more for the original product. By the way, on this very page, you are advertising the OLD ingredients for the bar, not the new formula. Seems like no one is paying attention to this page or the pleas of your life-long customers. Thank You
CHANGE IT BACK!!!! You changed this product and it now HURTS my skin. I started using this product because my skin is very sensitive and easily irritated. My doctor recommended this product many years ago and I have used it ever since. The ingredient list was short and simple and it was truly soothing. This new version CAUSES IRRITATION and pain. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with AVEENO. I am now searching for a new soap. PLEASE,PLEASE, change it back!
I have been using the product for YEARS, but after looking at the reviews, now I can tell my dermatologist it is from this bar soap! RED, SORE and THINNING skin on foot. Biposy showed nothing, dermatologist is saying it is something I have been in contact with. Told her I use the AVENO BAR SOAP, guess she has to be informed that I am not using this soap again! I know we have a new box style but after looking at an old box that was tossed in a drawer, I may have the evidence. Three different perscripton creams tried on it and nothing is working.
I just received my order of Aveeno Moisturizing Bars and discovered the new package. I hoped it would be good change but instead it leaves my skin feeling itchy and irritated. Please go back to the original formula because I've depended upon this product for 25 years, I buy it by the carton, and now I have to look for something else.
I have used Aveeno Moisturizing Bar for over 25 years and found it very effective. However, over the past two months, the ingredients of the bar have changed, and it is not as effectively moisturizing, gentle or soothing as it used to be. Avena sativa used to be the first ingredient. Now Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is listed first, and Avena sativa is listed second. The color of the soap is also darker. Can you please go back to the original formulation that was more effective? Until then, I cannot recommend your product as it is now.
I have always bought several bars at a time that last for about a year. I have very sensitive skin & this was all I used for the last 20+ years that made my skin feel soft & nourished, instead of dry, itchy & parched. I purchased this new bar not realizing it was a new formula & thought it was just a new design to the box. I am so saddened to say I will no longer be purchasing this in the future & am returning all of my recent purchase including the one I opened for a refund. I never thought something so popular, effective, nourishing to your skin and highly recommended would have a formula changed into something that is drying, irritating to my skin and makes me itch because it's so drying & it will be impossible to use. Because of this I no longer plan on using any of the other Aveeno products that I have also enjoyed for fear those formulas have also been tampered with and will also be unsatisfactory to use. Aveeno has always had a high rating and do not understand why a company would intentionally jeopardize their reputation with a substandard "soap" product. Goodbye Aveeno, another incredible product dead & buried. ***I answered your survey about Aveeno a company you trust "No", that would have previously been a yes. Expert in Skin care "no" that would have previously been a yes.
The new formula is super drying!!! Something that I avoided in other face washes before finally finding the old formula of this cleansing and moisturizing bar. The old formula was my holy grail product, and I am extremely disappointed in Aveeno's decision to change up the formula. I have used this moisturizing bar for over four years. I am currently looking for a new product to switch to. Oat kernel flour isn't even the first product listed on the new formulation!! (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is.) Please go back to the old formula, the one that worked and was gentle and moisturizing, as this product advertises to be.
This product has been changed again. The product is not the same as before, ingredients have been changed. This product is causing side effects which never happened before in the last 30 years. Face is swelling when using.
I have been loyal to Aveeno for 20 years. The product has been changed as the packaging changed with it. Currently, I have been getting headaches when I use this soap which was not the case before the packaging changed. This company and product I liked before but not anymore.
