The key to oral health is good habits, not gimmicks. It's less about which products you use, more about how well you use them. Consistent routine: Consistently brushing and flossing is the key to preventing major oral health problems, yet 50% of us don't brush twice a day (and even fewer floss). quip's sleek, lightweight design makes brushing simple and enjoyable, so you're more likely to do it twice every day. Correct technique: We've been led to believe that the more we spend and the more features we brush with, the better the clean, but it's not about what you use, it's the way you use it! And the same goes for floss. quip has the features teeth need, including timed sonic vibrations with guiding pulses. Regular upkeep: Regular product refresh and dental visits are a health need, not just a hygiene one. Yet 75% of us don't change our bristles or visit the dentist on time. And we've all lied to our dentist about how much we're flossing. For a healthy clean, quip auto-delivers fresh brush heads every 3 months. About quip: Our journey began at a neighborhood dentist in New York, with a suggestion to use the “cheapest electric brush available” to fight the common, damaging brushing habits most people have. Brushing too hard, not long enough or twice a day, not flossing or replacing your brush, and skipping the dentist are issues many of us ignore. Yet they have a far bigger impact on oral health than a "super ultra sonic" brush could ever have alone. So we fixed it. We saw three main causes behind the problems: overly complex functionality, clunky products, and a total lack of services to cater to the modern lifestyle. So we made it our mission to create honest, accessible, and simple oral care products that helped focus on the habits that really matter. And the result? Simple, beautifully designed electric toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss for the whole family, catered to your lifestyle.

Love this toothbrush. Turns off after 2 minutes which is how long you should be brushing
Love this toothbrush. So sleek and the mount sticks so well to the wall.
I have been using quip for years now as my go to travel toothbrush and love it. Key point- I use only for travel and not everyday use. A few minor complaints: The mirror "sticky-ony thing" doesn't last long and the cap at the end of the cover breaks off ridiculously easily. I shouldn't have to handle with kid gloves to keep the end-cap in place. But like I said- minor issues and could be easily overcome. A major complaint: the company has gradually moved to make "ordering as you need" a near impossibility. Their marketing folks are "evil geniuses" as they have done everything possible to wrangle you into signing up for a membership. I just bought our grandson a kids toothbrush and wanted to buy some back-up heads and can't. I can only get a combo pack of a head + a battery (not very environmentally friendly + I had to buy a pack of batteries to get him started) which BTW takes an advanced degree in computer sciences to find on the site. I wanted to buy some replacement heads at my local big box store (starts with a T and is where I bought the toothbrush) but they don't carry the kids size heads. Sadly after my heads run out I will no longer be using quip as it is just too hard to deal with ordering. So- overall a score of 3.
I would not recommend purchasing off the website. I feel as though I was tricked into signing up for a subscription to quip. I thought I had canceled it and then was surprisingly charged again to refill things I don't need. I would not purchase directly off the site again and will now probably use a third-party retailer.
After struggling with sensitivity and chipped enamel from grinding my teeth at night (age 32, female) I switched to a softer regular toothbrush after using quip for years and noticed a huge difference in pain relief. Today, at my cleaning, my dentist told me she dislikes quip and sees patients who use them to have dirtier teeth! She said the handle vibrates more than the actual head and they're too abrasive without deep cleaning. Bummed to have invested in two of these only to have them become obsolete.
I have had 2 of these tooth brushes and over time they become faulty and do not work. On both tooth brushes, they would be incredibly hard to turn on, and then would turn on by themselves draining the battery and making the tooth brush worthless. Not worth it, invest in another tooth brush that is possessed and turns on randomly. I had a friend that had multiple of these tooth brushes and the same thing kept happening. They no longer use quip.
The button would not turn the tooth brush on nor could I open it to change the batteries.
Battery was melted in the brush. Took foreverrrrr to get the battery out and it was absolutely disgusting.
More like 35 dollar packaging. These reviews have to be fake. Bought my whole house one of these, spent $100, and I can't even feel the Brissells vibrate on my teeth. I can feel the handle vibrate on my hand but not the brisssells on my teath. My whole family has complained. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT AND WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!
I have had a quip subscription for years and in the last year or so, the toothbrushes (both in our order) stopped working repeatedly for no apparent reason. Quip replaced them but then after the last replacement they stopped working within a few weeks. At this point, I'm not interested in continuing. The first set of brushes we got lasted about a year. The quality has gone way down.
