My dentist encouraged use of the Quip because the soft bristles don't cause damage to the tooth enamel. The 30 seconds for each quadrant of the mouth is signaled by the temporary hesitation, so you know it's time to move to the next portion of your mouth. The bad reviewers have obviously not read the directions.
I really like this toothbrush and thought it made my mouth feel extra clean. I'm surprised to see the bad reviews. My kids have the kid version of this toothbrush and love it also.
Please do not buy, my wife but these toothbrushes. Firstly they didn't stick on the bathroom mirror, they kept falling off, so I gave up on that. Then the quality, wow it was so bad, I will rather use a regular toothbrush, this one don't even stay on for more that 2 seconds. This is pure garbage, complete waste money.. Just don't buy..
This toothbrush is not worth $1.00. A manual toothbrush works better.
Plenty of good toothbrushes out there. This is not it. The heads don't last a month, much less 3. It's constantly stopping halfway way through the cycle or not working at all. Trash.
A regular old fashioned toothbrush is 100% better than this.
It's an awkward toothbrush that sorta vibrates and as really awful battery life. I regret ever having bought it. A decent regular toothbrush is much more effective and comfortable to use and even less wasteful. JUNK
I received two of these from my dentist (at the time). I'm comparing it to my Sonicare toothbrush. The brush head doesn't move and doesn't vibrate. All I feel is some vibration in my hand. When input water on my Sonicare and turn it on, all of the water immediately vibrates off the brush head - temming me that it is effective on my teeth. The Quip brush - when I put water on the brush head and turn it on, there is no difference. Don't waste your money on this!
