I bought the razor for my husband last year. He loves it. The blade is simple to change out. I might add, these replacement blades are extremely hard to find in the stores. I have looked for them in Texas, Oklahoma and Mississippi. I finally thought to look online to find it.
Norelco triple track shavers are a great product. I have been using Norelco products for years with great satisfaction. So far this shaver is is the best. It gives a very comfortable and close shave. Anyone out there looking for comfort and closeness in shaving should consider this shaver.
Initially I was wary that the most expensive Philip's razor would lead my face to 'adjust' to it over three weeks. After almost three years, however, I couldn't think of using anything else. I hated to shave before it, but can do it without annoyance now.
Compared to a blade razor, this item is soooo much less expensive and 90% as close as a blade. The difference is minimal if you consider price.
My Arcitec shaver gives the best shave I can get with an electric razor. It gives a very close shave on my face and my entire neck. The razor is light & easy to hold. This shaving head unit replaced the spare I bought with my razor during September 2008. The first unit wore out after eight months of use. While they may not last long, they give an excellent shave!
Please bring back the RQ10. I have soft facial hair and this was the only razor that halfway worked on my face. Since you discontinued, I have tried 3 different razors and none have come close to this razor. I actually still use the RQ10 that I have. The blade is more than 2 years old and still works better than the junk you have replaced it with. BRING THEM BACK, PLEASE! I am leaving Phillips until you do.
I BOUGHT THE RAZOR IN A WALMART STORE TWO YEARS AGO AND NOW I HAD TO ORDER REPLACEMENT BLADES OVER THE INTERNET BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE THEM IN THE STORE THIS YEAR. THE ENTIRE RAZOR IS SOLD BUT NOT REPLACEMENT HEAD - WRONG! THE PRODUCT IS FINE.
This is a product you have to buy once you purchase the razor. The only problem I have is that the info said to replace the blades at least once a year and we have already replaced them twice and have not had the razor for a full year yet. So a bit discouraged that the blades don't even last a year!!!
The razor is not worth $2.00,say nothing about$200.00Stay away from it...Does not shave well at all
No surprise. My old Norelco shaver blades lasted longer than the razor itself, whick lasted a long time. When I purchased a new Norelco I expected the same all around quailty...wrong. First, you really can't clean the blades. Running under water is so so. Get a hair stuck in there it's l like rapping a cable around an axle, it ain't comin off. Same thing in the razor, the hair strand is there for life. That just makes it harder to wash the whiskers out. Plus the blades go dull in a fairly short amount of time. I've uses Norelco's for years and years but I think that era is over. I won't be buying anther replacement blade set, unless I can actually clean them-like being able to pull the blades out ot the housing. Now, if Norelco wants to send me and all the others who aren't happy about the sub standard blades some new ones, for FREE, I might change my tune. Other than that, they can keep the whole works.
