Please be aware that although the product says "Rechargeable", the one you receive is corded. Other than that, it is a great product. I had not tried an epilator in about 15-20 years. I was so scared of it since trying the Epilady when it first came out (so painful I couldn't get past my ankles). But I figured the ones on the market now had to be improved, so I decided to take a chance. To my surprise, it was fairly fast and generally painless, especially on the minimally sensitive lower leg. So far, it's been about a week and a half and the hairs removed have not grown back--far superior to shaving! If you are looking for a long lasting hair removal method don't be afraid to take the plunge! P.S. I did not feel it was necessary to use the finger attachment.
I've never used a epilator before this was my first one. Yes, it is a little painful, but not to where it is not tolerable. It is so nice not having to shave your legs every night and your legs are very smooth after using the epilator. I have not tried it on my arm pits or bikini line yet. I think this is a good prod and would recommend it.
In a nutshell; it works, it hurts, and it is not the rechargeable version. Walmart either has the product description wrong or is shipping the wrong model....The one I received is teal green color , not pink as pictured.
When I got this product I expected it to be rechargeable, but instead what I got was a corded machine. I was disappointed. The name of the product is a "Emjoi Light Caress Rechargeable Epilator." Hence it should be rechargeable. Also the machine comes with a plastic cover to surround the tweezers. It pulls the skin and it hurts. The directions say to hold the skin taut, but that becomes an inconvenience when you have to constantly fight with the epilator to prevent it from pulling your skin. I would not recommend using this on sensitive areas such as under the knee, underarms, and elbow, but other than that it worked just fine.
I could not get this product to work at all! I took a warm shower, used the scrub thing provided to help ease the pain, and the tried to use it right after the shower. After 30 minutes (on one spot of my right leg) I gave up. It was pulling hair, but my leg wasn't getting any more smooth. I took it back to Wal-Mart and will not purchase a different kind... ever
