I have two 3 year olds and a 10 year old. In the summer I had to only buy three of these and I applied this on them everyday. Works amazingly well and lasts a while.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in vegas, sunscreen is a must. With four kids, it's inevitable that someone gets in the eye even after repeated “close your eyes!!” Also we are a spray family. It takes too long otherwise and I've got children scrambling everywhere. Form a line and spray spray spray!! Pros: no tear formula, 50+ spf and water resistant. Great product from a great trusted brand
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids and I love the Banana Boat Kids Free Clear 50 spf Sunscreen Spray. The spray nozzle on the bottle allows for good coverage of the sunscreen and you can twist the cap on top to lock and close it while not in use. The sunscreen seems to work really well for almost an hour and a half and it is even water resistant. My kids don't mind using this as it doesn't sting when applying.
We've used this product in years past with no problem. My daughter has VERY sensitive skin and this was the only thing that did not break her out. However, this year she used it just like years past (50SPF) and was burned horribly! I went and bought a new bottle of 100spf and the picture below shows her 2nd burn. *Not participating in any contest!
I bought this thinking it would be a great product….what a huge disappointment. We used while on the beach and still got sunburned so bad that we didn't even return to the beach the next day. I'm a fair skinned freckle faced woman who has always used kids sunscreen with high SPF to try and protect myself and this product did not protect me in the least. If I could give it zero stars that's what I would do. I've always used banana boat products cause of my sensitive skin but not sure I ever will again! So thankful I didn't use on the children that were with me.
Horrible! I put it in my sons before they went to the pool, removed them from the water, had them dry off and reapplied an hour later. They both had horrible sunburns. Not only that but my two oldest boys and my husband all had a rash develop within hours in addition to the sunburn. My oldest son had blistering on his hands it got so bad. NEVeR buying this again. I used a different brand of lotion on myself and the babies just because I like the smell and we were fine. No contest [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This product burned my 29 month toddler! He's got second degree burns in his face and arms !
Last month I went on a vacation in Palau and bought three bottles of this Sunscreen Spray from a supermarket. What does the number on the bottom of the bottle mean? I thought it was produced in 2014 but I bought it in 2018???!!!!!!! Is there anybody who could explain to me? Thanks!
I applied this sunscreen on my kids before going into the water and reapplied several times during the course of a couple of hours swimming. It burned my daughters cheeks so bad and that's where I applied it the most. This is a horrible product and won't be using it again!!! And this states it is for KIDS! Someone doesn't know what they are doing clearly.
I used this product for my 7 month old son. I reapplies as directed. Mind you this has happened twice so I thought I was doing something wrong, but I haven’t been. This stuff just doesn’t work. It don’t need to be on the shelves. My poor babies back, shoulders, head, legs and arms are sunburnt. He’s absolutely miserable! I really thought this stuff would work!
