I used these large hooks for my classroom. They were perfect for getting the multiple wires going to my computer and other media off of the floor and untangled. I simply applied a few in a nice path and placed the wires across the hooks. My room is SO much neater now! No one trips over cords or cables and I always know where they are when I have to take my laptop somewhere else and return to hook back up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I followed the directions to use this, I have the hook in my bathroom stuck on my vanity to hold a hand towel. The directions are easy to follow, it looks good and works very well. It's withheld people (even 5 kids) taking the hand towel off to dry and re hang it so I would say it works very efficiently while looking nice at the same time!
We are not allowed to put holes into our work area, so I use Command Hooks. It's an excellent alternative and keeps our facility manager happy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I use two of these hooks in my dorm room this year and I loved them. I hung my headphones from one and my purse/lunchbag from the other. I never had any problems and they were so clear that I almost missed taking them down! They were very easy to remove and hassel free. I would definitely recommend! Surface prep instructions say to use alcohol to clean surface. Alcohol ruined the eggshell finish of the wall paint in the prep area, and the wall was repainted to restore the eggshell finish. Best not to use alcohol on latex painted surfaces.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this would be a great product to use instead of putting nail holes in my walls. The adhesive and hook work wonderfully. It sticks to the wall and held up my picture perfectly. But when I went to remove the adhesive from the wall (I wanted to move the picture) the pull tab tore right off and I was unable to remove the hook from the wall. I pulled the tab straight down, just as the instructions stated to do, with no luck. I was a bit disappointed as now I am either stuck looking at the empty hook. Or unable to move the picture to its new location.
It doesn't have the sticking power like the other hooks. I've had command hooks up for years with decorations I tried these several places and they fall off the clear hooks are a great idea but needs more stick
Just spent mega dollars gutting my home last summer. New paint on all new dry wall. Waited 3 months for paint to cure and put these up as to not put holes in the walls. WOW up to now 4 colors of paint to re-open to fix the areas that these have come off and peeled the paint with them.
Hung two of these identical hooks. Only used them to hang light towels to dry. One came off and tore the paint right off the wall. I live in a rental home, I don't have the paint to fix it. Now I lose some of my security deposit because your hooks don't work.
I am a renter and try to do as little to damage my walls as possible. I purchased the 4lb Clean Hooks to hang our stockings on this year. They held great. Then it came time to remove them and they would not come off. My husband and I both were pulling the tab down to remove it and it wouldn't budge. The next time we tried the tab completely ripped off, leaving the hook secured to the wall with no way to remove it. I tried another, we hung four, and the next would not move as well. I pulled the tab and even tried using my nail under the tab between the wall to separate it. It came off, along with about 3 inches of the wall. After feeling completely defeated I waited about a week to attempt the next one. The tab did not work, again, I tried using a knife under it and got about halfway under it before it ripped the paint off again. I use command hooks all over my house. I don't know what it is about this particular type but don't use them. I now have a wall that is the first thing you see when you enter my home that looks horrible and one single hook at the top that I haven't had the strength to try to remove yet.
