This keyboard is fantastic!! It has GREAT sound. I bought this for my daughter who is just learning but wanted something that I could also play as I have played piano for several years. I saw this same thing at Circuit City for more than double the price!!! AND, when I bought this...it was on sale, making my purchase even better! The sound is wonderful, the options are endless and I highly recommend this product!!!
Yes, just as the name implies, this digital keyboard piano truly does pack punch. The sound is quite realistic, and quality of it is superb. Now, the keys are very lightly weighted, so if you are seeking a piano with weighted keys, then this might not be for you, though I my self prefer weighted keys, but with this I really got use to. The DGX-220 also includes with some over 400 sounds, all of which are extremely satisfying, and will keep you busy for hours on end. Over all, I"m very content with my purchase, and at 297$, this is truly a steal. Though be warned, this does not include a SUSTAIN PEDAL, so take care into buying one, because the sustain pedal will indeed increase the experience of this amazing instrument and its fun. This is my first piano I've bought and I'm loving it. Pros - Alot of differnt sounds/instruments built in. - Fun to play - Sturdy/great looking piano. - Speakers are good all around. - Not simple but fairly easy to learn the setup of the Piano and it's features. - You can play along, it will grade you, the list goes on for all the differnt setups available. - Overall a great purchase for new comers to the advanced piano players. Cons - I've heard these sometimes don't come with AC adaptor so read carefully. - You must purchase the USB (hookup) and the instructional video seperately. Neither are expensive, but would have been helpfull. - Confusing at first but you'll get use to the features. In the end I would recommend this and is a great price once you look at other piano's and the price for the features.
Yamaha DGX-220 is a good keyboard with USB & Touch screen. It has very good sound quality. Overall its a standard size keyboard (77keys) with cool features within an affordable price (near about $300). You can play/record MIDI tracks using this keyboard. One Disadvantage: This version does not support memory card.
