than what I was expecting. I got this for my eight yr old girl. There are all sorts of little pockets and stuff where she can hide stuff in. And a lot of places that she can write stuff in and on. She uses it everyday as a speaker for her portable DVD player while she lays in bed. I'd buy it all over again.
My daughter was excited about the pillow, mostly because it was HSM, had a zipper so you can put things inside, and it locks. I bought it for the MP3 speaker that it boasted. I didn't try it before I gave it to her for Christmas, and she is happy with it. But the speaker does not have a volume control, and unless your ear is pressed directly over the speaker, you cannot hear the music. Perhaps a better volume design would have been better. But I did get this on clearance, so for the money, it was a pretty good deal.
my daughter enjoys the secret pillow but unfortunately the mp3 player hook up does not work!!
