We ordered this generator from Sam's one day sale. We are very pleased with this product and got it at a great price with free shipping right to our home!
Easy wheel assembly. Relatively quiet.Started on first key turn.Comes with a cover.Very pleased.Got generator from Sam's one-day sale for $199 and free shipping.Hard to beat!!
The unit came on a day that we lost power in the area. So needless to say I started it up. We have a sump pump and that was my main concern. I had already purchased a 2,000 watt inverter. The battery was 1/2 the priceof the Gen. So yes I am very happy for the unit. Easy to start. Just make sure your not standing in front of the fumes. har har The handle is in a bad location. I moved it while it was running and got a bit sick. My mistake at 81 dah.
I bought this machine to have in case of power failure. It has ample wattage to handle the furnace and a few lights. While I have not run the machine for an extended period, I have tried it out and it cranks easily and runs smoothly under load. Well worth the price.
I purchased this generator as a household backup to operate minimal lighting, a freezer and refrigerator. I purchased during a deep discount period for a bargain price....especially if the reviews were remotely accurate. They were! After unpacking, installed the optional (yet included) wheel kit, uwrapping and connecting the battery, adding oil and fuel, the engine fired off promptly. I connected a number of items to test the current output and found everything working perfectly. Once it cooled off, I turned off the fuel valve and installed the nice vinyl cover (also included) then rolled the genrator off to the side of my garage where it will sit until a lack of power calls it into service. All of this to say that I am 110% please with my purchase ! ! !
The generator arrived undamaged by FedEx 5 days after order. Assembly took about 1 hour. This was the installation of wheel kit, battery, and filling with supplied engine oil. I put a small amount of gasoline in it and it fired right up. I ran the gasoline out to make sure the carburetor does not gum up. I am now prepared for a storm that I hope does not come.
I've had this generator for about a month. I would recommend this generator to anyone looking for a small relatively light generator. It started right up with the electric start. Had a little trouble with the pull start, but I did get it to start. The only two things preventing me from giving it a five star rating are the instructions (horrible would be a compliment) and it no longer has a fuel gauge. I called the toll free number about the lack of the fuel gauge and they told me the EPA made them remove it and replaced it with a fuel vent. Sam's club had this generator on sale at half price for one day only.
WE bought this generator a few weeks ago. It was easily assembled. after we put the oil and gas in it, it cranked the first time we tried it..It's not as quiet as we had hoped, but I don't think that will be a problem.
Just had generator delivered from one day sale. Battery was a bit of a pain installing cables. put in oil, gas and it fired right up. Very quite for a generator of this size and price. ran some power tools and it did the job. Wanted it to run heat in the winter or refrig/freezer in summer in case of a power failure. If you want to run TV's, computers or other electronics, you should get an inverter generator but, for what I need this should be fine.
Generator arrived in apparent good order, but when I put gas in the tank, the fuel valve started leaking. I tried tightening the sediment clean out screw and then noticed the leak was coming from the connection of the fuel valve to the tank. The valve was bent and partially separated from the tank. Called SAMs online and they said I can return it to my local SAMs.
